Beyond Wrestling “Uncharted Territory: Season 3, Episode 10”

It’s cold in Worcester but after a hot show in Providence, Beyond promises to bring the violence tonight with a clash between Atticus Cogar & Masha Slamovich! Paul Crockett and King of the Big Gulp Sidney Bakabella are on commentary. “Sexy” Rich Palladino is your announcer! Let’s get to our pre-show spotlight match!

Spotlight Match: “The Mecca” Brian Johnson vs “The Afropunk” Trish Adora 

Wait, WHAT? How DARE Brian Johnson call out Trish Adora and drag her into the Spotlight Match? The crowd is surprised at this too and give Johnson no quarter…but we do love the Afropunk. Trish offers a handshake. Johnson gives her a “Bozo” shirt. Trish makes to tear it up and uses it like matador’s cape to keep Johnson frustrated. He pokes her in the eye and beats on Trish while berating her and the crowd. Johnson off the top several times with clothesline prompting the crowd to tell him to shut up…but not in unison. Trish fighting back, blockbuster and she’s fired up. Sidewalk backbreaker for two! She’s setting up for the Lariat Tubman, he ducks and tries to steal it with a handful of tights. Adora kicks out an send him to the apron, Johnson with a slingshot splash into cheating pin. This was a good spot. And Johnson can’t shut his mouth so Adora pummels him and rages out of the corner with a Lariat Tubman to get the pin! Thank f***. 

Winner: Trish Adora

And we’re live on IWTV! What are we getting into tonight?!?

Alec Price is out here to call us all GAHBAHGE. Willow’s not even here! Price suggest that maybe had something to do with that? Willow AND Dickinson are out so it’s Time for a Prize City Dance Party! But you know who LOOOOOOVES to dance? <hit the music>

Match 1: Alec Price (w/ Becca) vs Waves & Curls (Traevon Jordan & Jaelyn Brandyn) 

Becca makes a terrible tag partner to start as Waves & Curls run roughshod on Price. Becca tags in finally and gets into a dance party with W&C, bringing in a jealous and irate Price. Brandyn taking some damage now from Prize City, Becca getting used as a weapon for a toss back splash pin. Prize City keeping Jordan frustrated at the corner but Brandyn ducks a handspring slap, Price takes the hit and Jordan gets the tag! Prize City sent to the floor and Jaelyn is thrown after them! Sidewalk slam to Price! Kickout! Becca with some kicks that stun Traevon but he drops her on the apron and asks “WHAT HAPPENED?”. Brandyn crotched on the top rope, Becca rakes the eyes of Jordan, Becca with a dive and Price KO’s Jordan with his confetti cannon. Jaelyn brought back in to eat a Gotch style powerbomb to Becca’s knees for the EMPHATIC double pin. Great back and both match here. The crowd loves to hate Prize City and they got plenty of heat for a relatively clean win over the Worcester favorites.

Match 2: “The Mile High Magnum” Dak Draper vs Dan Barry

How is Dan alive after his beatdown on Sunday? Is he getting ambushed tonight? Well he does have a tall task in front of him. Draper has the power but Dan Barry uses his superior wrestling skills to ground his opponent and tie up the limbs.  Uh shoulder check from Draper but Dan rolls through to hit a cutter. Draper powders, Barry gives chase with a suicide dive. Springboard senton and Dan is getting confident. Dak Draper with a kick and cactus crossbody that sends them both flying over the top. Draper with stomps and a handstand knee drop for two. Barry escapes a powerbomb but eats a slingshot back elbow for another near fall. Draper off the top, Barry with a dropkick out of the air! Dan escapes a superplex NARROWLY to hit a superkick! Spear! Double down. Back up, Draper catches a crossbody and puts Barry up for the finish….Dan Barry slides out and traps the legs to get the three! Solid match here, Dan Barry looked motivated as hell through this.

Winner: Dan Barry

Dan Barry grabs the mic and says at this time last year, he was packed and ready to leave wrestling forever. He lost his partner. Team Tremendous is dead…but Dan Barry isn’t. Vincent is not safe….and on New Year’s, he’ll experience the horror story that the Righteous think they’re in.

Match 3: Brick City Boyz (JCruz & Victor Chase) vs VBU (Dante Drago & Jack Tomlinson)

Who is the heel in this match? Cruz is overpowering VBU early but they surprise BCB and send them to the outside for some dives. Jack hits a good triangle moonsault to the floor. BCB isolates Dante and gives him a good beatdown. Dante finally escapes with a rebound double clothesline and gets the tag to his frat brother. Jack plays BCB against themselves, Cruz gets speared in the corner and kicks out at two. Crowd is starting to get behind the frat boys of VBU with some “After Party” chants. VBU with a wheelbarrow curb stomp but Brick City rages back and destroys Dante with their backdrop/elbow drop combo to continue their run in the Discovery Gauntlet. Solid victory to keep the run going.

Winners: Brick City Boyz

Cam Zagami is out here to do the post-match interview. They make a point to call us losers, just like Waves & Curls. BCB is done tonight but Cam ain’t. Club Cam is full of winners so he gave his boys the night off. The club is full…and they have no room for losers like Teddy Goodz! Of course this prompts Teddy to come out and confront Cam. Cam threatens to go 2-0 in Uncharted Territory against him…Goodz says if Cam wants to wrestle next week…he can fight LITTLE MEAN KATHLEEN. Cam looks horrified at the thought as Matt Taven runs in to ambush Goodz ahead of their match.

Match 4: Teddy Goodz vs Matt Taven 

Taven’s ambush is short lived, Goodz ducks a corner shot and takes control. Big atomic drop and a lariat! Taven catches him running and posts Goodz. Taven keeps working the shoulder. Teddy’s fighting back but Taven keeps him grounded so he can preen to the crowd. Taven hits a flatliner and transitions to a crossface. Goodz out and hits a tackle into the corner, he goes for the iconoclasym but Taven blasts him down. Taven with a lionsault but meets knees. Teddy with elbows in the corner! Crossbody off the top! Corner spear, iconoclasym, kick out! Taven with a sudden corkscrew neckbreaker. Goodz with a sunset flip but eats a PK. Taven off the top…Goodz with a cutter! Backpack stunner! Taven kicks out! Goodz tries a rolling cutter but steps up into a headlock driver that ends the match. Good back and forth work here. 

Winner: Matt Taven 

Match 5: Davienne vs “Megasus” Megan Bayne

Davy tries a couple of quick ambush pins at the bell. Bayne fights back but Davienne is throwing heavy artillery early. Davy off the second rope but Bayne slams her down and goes to work. Stomps & clubbing blows but Davy’s not out yet. Bayne catches her running with a Samoan drop. Knees to the gut and a forearm keep Davienne stunned. A Running senton from Megasus and Davienne kicks out. Davienne caught in an up and over into a powerslam. Kick out! Bayne misses a second senton! Dropkick off the second hits from Davienne! They trade forearms, Davienne with big lariats but Bayne keeps getting up. Megasus getting chopped up in the corner and eats a uranage! Davienne looking to finish but Bayne is fighting it. Davienne with a Samoan drop and Bayne kicks out. Bayne with a chokeslam! Kick out! Davienne rolls up the tombstone, kick out! Megasus trapped in a deep Boston crab but she drags it to the rope. Big spear from Davienne! Kick out! Bayne with a big boot! Tombstone, count Davienne out. Bayne was winning this for sure but Davienne had a great rally in the second half of this that called that sure fire victory into question.

Match 6: IronBeast (KTB & Shane Mercer) vs Hot Wheelz (Wheeler Yuta & Tracy Williams)

Yuta quickly outworks Mercer on the mat while Hot Sauce cheers him on. Mercer uses his strength advantage to overpower a wrist lock and try for some pins. Yuta tries to leverage out but Mercer won’t let it go. Yuta with a dropkick and runs into a brutal shoulder block. KTB & Sauce tag in to trade loud aggressive shots in the center. KTB hits a huge flurry of strikes but Williams brings him down into a heel hook. Hot Wheelz starts to work over the beast, until Yuta tries a dive out to Mercer…and gets thrown back into the ring for a sitout powerbomb by KTB for two. Sick power spot. IronBeast has Yuta in the crucible, hitting uppercuts and headbutts to the back of the head. Fireman’s carry neckbreaker for two. Sauce has to break up the pin after a corner spear. Yuta escapes KTB but gets hit with a takeover powerslam for two. One arm powerbomb from Mercer for two! KTB rana’d into a spear on Mercer! Sauce gets the tag and goes wild on IronBeast! DVD on KTB! Great fighting power spot! Kickout! Mercer with a press slam into the boot of KTB! Sauce almost gets the pin with a discus lariat to Mercer! Mercer and Williams trading chops! Yuta ejects KTB from the ring! Sauce gets a crossface! Merce powers out! Sauce to the top, Mercer catches him up there! Yuta and KTB brawl to the outside and KO each other! Mercer with his moonsault powerslam to Sauce! Tracy Willams comes up and hits Mercer with a piledriver for the pin! I hope to see IronBeast back again, yeeting people around. Maybe Price & Becca? The crowd certainly wants this!

Winners: Hot Wheelz

Main Event: “Silver Teeth Satan” Atticus Cogar vs “The Russian Dynamite” Masha Slamovich

Masha comes equipped tonight with a sickle. I’m sure Cogar has his barbecue sticks somewhere. Cogar refuses to engage and sits on the top rope as Masha brings a chair in and dares him to kill her. He refuses the chair and Masha decks him. Cogar pie faces her and Masha swarms with punches and a lariat. Masha chases him out of the ring and suplexes him into the first row of unforgiving venue chairs. Masha comes running but Cogar kicks a chair into her knee and lands a chair assisted kick to the head. Masha’s bell is rung as Cogar starts throwing plunder into the ring, chairs, doors, cookie sheets, a cheese grater. He runs her into the post and throws a door at her and heads back into the ring and waits for her to come running into a drop toe hold on the chair. He grates up her elbow and forearm. He pulls out the skewers and gives Masha a crimson crown before blasting her with a cookie sheet…and using it to open her up further. More grating to the forehead! He stabs her arm with the skewers. Masha is a bloody mess as Cogar turns this into a horror movie. Masha fires up with kicks and a flying heel kick! Masha carves up his head but that fires Cogar up to put skewers in her cheek and stomp it! Jeeeeeeeeez. Masha pulls him on her shoulders and runs him headfirst through a door. Kick out! Cogar with a superplex and an air raid crash through a chair. Masha kicks out! Cogar skewers her head against and blasts her on the dome with the broken door but she’s not done! She pulls an object from her pocket, rams it into his forehead and piledrives him to the mat! Kick out! Masha gets the sickle! She wraps him in a STF and holds the sickle in his mouth. Atticus fights it but has to tap to the pain! LOOK, this either WAS or WAS NOT your thing. Masha’s matches have been getting wildly violent lately and this upped the ante for sure….and you know she’s going to want to top it against Kimber Lee at Heavy Lies the Crown. Huge “Deathmatch Masha” chant for this. 

Winner: Masha Slamovich
