The sequel to the Keanue Reeves film 47 Ronin began filming this week in Budapest, Hungary for Universal 1440 Entertainment, which is expected to release the film on Netflix.
The film was written by former WWE star AJ Mendez (AJ Lee) and her partner Aimee Garcia (who played Ella on Lucifer), the pair's first screenplay work.
The sequel to the 2013 Keanu Reeves film is set several hundred years after the film first, so he will not be returning.
The hope is to turn this into a continuing film franchise.
