AEW will debut this Wednesday night at the UBS Arena in Long Island, NY with a live Dynamite broadcast on TNT featuring:
*Bryan Danielson vs. John Silver in Silver's hometown.
*The Young Bucks with Adam Cole vs. CHAOS' Rocky Romero & Chucky T with Orange Cassidy.
*The 2021 Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal.
*Jamie Hayter vs. Riho.
Bryan Danielson will challenge Hangman Page on the 12/15 edition of Dynamite, which will be the 2021 Winter is Coming edition from Garland, Texas.
Last week while AEW was in Orlando taping Dark, QT Marshall was honored at the Planet Hollywood location at Disney Springs there with his signed boots from AEW All Out now on display. Marshall worked at the same location while he was breaking into the business, so it was a cool "full circle" moment for him as he started out as a server and bartender for the location, before coming a corporate trainer for the brand and then restaurant supervisor. There are props from Hulk Hogan's Suburban Commando in the same location.
On the honor, Marshall commented, "I am so honored to be able to have my boots on display at PH as I hold my experience working at the restaurant near and dear to my heart. I spent eight years of life there, working hard, developing meaningful friendships and making memories that I’ll never forget."
With Tony Nese signing, we received a few questions about how AEW deals work. If AEW announces someone is "All Elite" and welcomes them to the team publicly, that means they have exclusively signed with the company. There are also per date deals that allows AEW to lock talents up for appearances without exclusivity.
There's been lots of talk about the company finally going to the West Coast next year now they have had made up a great number of the dates that were pushed back due to the pandemic.
ROH Pure Champion Josh Woods (obviously without the title belt) worked the Dark tapings last weekend.
