Note: The World Tag League event held on December 2, was recorded, but not presented as a live show. There was no commentary on this show or for the matches. The significant moment of the show was Dangerous Tekkers defeating Los Ingobernales de Japon to take the lead with 12 points in WTL 2021.
From Yamanishi, Japan:
1. Ryohei Oiwa vs. Shingo Takagi
Takagi forces Oiwa to tap out to a single leg Boston Crab.
A warm up match for Shingo with Wrestle Kingdom a month away. Good experience for Oiwa to be in the ring with the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
World Tag League 2021 Matches:
2. Tiger Mask and Yuji Nagata vs. Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale
Owens pinned Nagata after hitting a Package Piledriver.
3. YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto vs. TAKA Michinoku and Minoru Suzuki
Suzuki-Gun controlled most of the match with submissions on YOSHI-HASHI. However, CHAOS was able to fight back.
YOSHI-HASHI pinned TAKA after they hit Shoto.
4. Tomoaki Honma and Togi Makabe vs. Aaron Henare and Great O-Khan
Henare pins Honma after an Imperial Drop.
5. Satoshi Kojima and Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. SANADA and Tetsuya Naito
SANADA pins Tenzan with an O’Conner Roll.
For Honma, Makabe, Kojima and Tenzan, despite being older than their opponents, they have been very competitive and hard-hitting in this tournament. Their opponents have had to earn their wins. LIJ needed a win here after losing to Dangerous Tekkers two days ago.
6. Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi vs. Yujiro Takahashi and EVIL, with Dick Togo
Tekkers went for submissions against House of Torture. Togo gave them the advantage when they sent Taichi into the timekeeper table. They double teamed Taichi until he was able to make the tag to ZSJ. ZSJ cleaned house. He went after Yujiro with submissions. Match became total chaos. Togo chokes out ZSJ. Referee takes a bump. Taichi hits EVIL with a Dangerous Backdrop. No referee. Togo chokes out Taichi. EVIL hits Everything is Evil on Taichi. Togo revives the referee.
EVIL pins Taichi.
House of Torture gets a big win. They beat the champs which may get them a title shot. This win keeps them in third place in WTL 2021.
They taunt the fallen champs while holding all the titles after the match.
7. Toru Yano and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga, with Jado.
Tanga Loa pinned Yano after they hit a Magic Killer.
Tanga Loa took the mic and reminded the crowd that they are the World Tag League Champions from 2020.
