Has there been any talks of the former SpikeTV, aka Paramount Network, wanting to get back in the pro wrestling world?  Did the end of Impact there ruin any chances?

Nothing that I've recently heard about as there's been no talk of anyone from Viacom looking into a pro wrestling product for a long, long time.  At one point, when Spike was in existence, they did have some interest in buying into TNA but it never happened.  I don't think that the end of Impact on Spike killed interest in wrestling as I know that they had meetings with other potential promotions after Impact left Spike but a deal was never able to be reached.  The shift in management and the push to create Paramount Network led the channel in a different direction, but given that the Paramount+ streaming service has featured live MMA, I don't think it's out of the question that at some point, someone will try to land there as well.

Whatever happened to CZW?  Do you think it's ever coming back?  Have we seen the final Cage of Death?

CZW, under DJ Hyde, has started to run some small shows in New Jersey.  Their current plan is to hold a Cage of Death show sometime in 2022 when they've built up storylines.  They recently announced a partnership with the Wild Samoan Training Center in PA for a combined school.

Why do you think WWE hasn't acknowledged Jim Ross' cancer battle or even the passing of Kal Rudman?

Sadly, it may be that someone in power in the company didn't think either situation warranted a public statement.   If that was the case, that's a shame, especially regarding Ross, who was one of those highly responsible for the company's rise in the 1990s with the talents he personally signed.

If you could pick one venue, no matter the size, for a perfect wrestling card to take place, where would it be?

I'm a NYC guy, so obviously Madison Square Garden comes to mind at first, but after thinking about it,  I'd actually go with the Allstate Arena in Chicago, which is pretty much perfect for acoustic,s, sightlines and energy.  I love the 2300 Arena and the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom as well, but if you want a perfect venue for a perfect card, Allstate is that location.

Is there one wrestling venue you'd wish you'd be able to attend a show in?

EASILY, The Mid-South Coliseum or the Sportatorium.

Where has Nick Gage been?  He wasn't even at his own Invitational tournament!

This year's was not the first Nick Gage Invitational Gage hasn't appeared at.    In asking, I am told that Gage has been taking time off to get himself healthy in preparation for a strong 2022 run.
