Yuto Nakashima vs. Kosei Fujita.
Both men fought to a draw.
World Tag League 2021 Matches:
YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto vs. Tiger Mask and Yuji Nagata
YOSHI-HASHI pinned Tiger Mask after hitting a Shoto.
Satoshi Kojima and Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Yujiro Takahashi and EVIL, with Dick Togo
Tenzan had Yujiro trapped in an Anaconda Vice. Togo jumped on the ring apron with his piano wire. The referee stopped him from entering the ring. Yujiro was tapping out. Tenzan releases the hold to get at Togo. EVIL pushes Tenzan into the referee. EVIL hits a low low on Tenzan. Kojima makes the save, but EVIL hits him with a low blow. Yujiro blasts Kojima with his Pimp Stick, then hits Tenzan as well. Yujiro hits Big Juice on Tenzan. Yujiro pins Tenzan.
House of Torture, surprisingly, gets their first win of the tournament.
Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale vs. Tomoaki Honma and Togi Makabe
Owens pins Honma after a Package Piledriver.
Chase and Fale share second place with 6 points.
TAKA Michinoku and Minoru Suzuki vs. Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, with Jado
Suzuki-Gun attacked G.O.D. as they were coming to the ring. Suzuki took out Jado and took his kendo stick to beat and choke Tanga Loa. TAKA bounced Tama Tonga off the guardrails. G.O.D. recovered and attacked back. Tama took the kendo stick and battled Suzuki who had a chair. Tanga Loa used his power to pound the smaller TAKA. Pace picked up. Tama hit a Gun Stun on TAKA.
Tama Tonga pinned TAKA.
Suzuki was pissed. He destroyed a chair on two young lions. With the win, G.O.D. remain tied for second place.
Fun match between these two heel teams, who just wanted to fight.
Aaron Henare and Great O-Khan vs. Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi
O-Khan planted ZSJ with an Eliminator. Henare picked up Taichi in a fireman's carry position and O-Khan came off the ropes with a flying neckbreaker. They called this the Imperial Drop.
O-Khan pinned Taichi.
Wow! A Stunner! United Empire beat the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions! Also, they are now tied for second place with 6 points.
O-Khan grabbed the Tag Team belts and posed over the fallen Dangerous Tekkers.
Good match. The pairing of O-Khan against ZSJ was great. Both have grappling skills which are awesome and it would be cool to see them in a single match. Biggest win for Aaron Henare in New Japan so far. No matter who wins WTL 2021, United Empire should earn a title shot.
Toru Yano and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. SANADA and Tetsuya Naito
SANADA pins Tanahashi with an O'Conner Roll.
Los Ingobernales de Japon take the lead in WTL 2021 with 8 points and remain undefeated.
