Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide owner Dorian Roldán has announced on Twitter that the company will issue a statement tomorrow on Kenny Omega’s status for AAA’s Triplemanía Regia show on December 4 in the Estadio de Béisbol Monterrey baseball stadium.

Omega is currently scheduled to attempt his sixth defense of the AAA Mega Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo at the show. The title match is one year in the making dating back to Triplemanía XXVIII last December, when Omega nominated the extraordinary young luchador as his next challenger for the title. Instead, Andrade challenged Omega for the title at Triplemanía XXIX in August.
PWInsider reported on November 17 that Omega may be out for an extended period of time from in-ring action as he’s likely looking at shoulder surgery.
