VINCE VS. HHH, MAKING THE SURVIVOR SERIES MEAN SOMETHING, BRON IS A STEINER AND MORE

With so many of the WWE releases over the past year being wrestlers who HHH built up through NXT, many in the IWC believe it’s Vince being petty and destroying what HHH built.  Personally I find it hard to believe it’s just a coincidence.  Do you think there’s anything to that theory?

Vince is destroying what HHH built, for sure, but I don't believe it's out of pettiness towards his son-in-law.  I think it's more a case of him saying, "See, most fans don't want to see that rasslin' stuff", even though many of us do want to see it.

I don't know that Dan Lambert is getting enough credit for how he plays his role, and the amount of heel heat he is able to generate.  Is there a better heel manager/advocate out there right now not named Paul Heyman?

I can't speak for anyone else but I love Lambert's work.  If you listen to my audios though you know I love Lambert's work.  I give him a lot of praise.

The Young Bucks and Seth Rollins’ gimmicks seem similar. They are definitely not cool heels, monster heels, vicious heels, or the prototypical cowardly heels. Are they annoying heels? Do annoying heels draw or make you change the channel? How would you label their gimmicks and do you like their gimmicks?

I don't really label their gimmicks but I am not a fan of either.  Rollins is such a great wrestler.  Watching him do whatever it is he is trying to do now definitely makes me want to change the channel.  The Bucks?  Well, they are what they are.

Here we are again. Another pointless Survivor Series. I have at least 3 ideas to bring it back to relevance. 1. All the survivors of each match come back for an Extreme Elimination match - Falls Count Anywhere & Extreme Rules - Sole Survivor gets a world title shot at either brand’s champion with a stipulation of their choosing. 2. Same premise, but the Sole Survivor is granted a #30 spot at the Royal Rumble. 3. All the survivors come back for an Elimination Chamber match, winner gets a world title shot in the Survivor Series main event - playing off the “series” theme. This provides motivation for wrestlers to team with rivals for a one night “gauntlet of glory”. Do you like any or all of these ideas to bring the event back to relevance?

Sure, they could do that but clearly Vince views it as a throwaway show so it really doesn't matter what we want, he will keep putting the zero effort into it that he has for years now.

This week on NXT, at least for me, the one line that made me pop was when Ciampa tells Bron that he has a 33 1/3% chance of taking the NXT title - a reference to the infamous Scott Steiner math promo.  I loved Bron’s reaction, but it came across on TV that the line went over most people’s heads in the crowd.  Is this the closest we’ll ever get to WWE acknowledging that Bron is a Steiner?

You never know with WWE.  Why they aren’t already telling us about the bloodline is just odd to me.  I would think at some point someone will make note of the relationship but who knows!
