COMPLETE UWN RED CARPET RUMBLE 2021 ON FITE.TV PPV COVERAGE

Welcome to PWInsider.com's live, ongoing coverage of the United Wrestling Network's Red Carpet Rumble from the Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA!

Danny Limelight (with The Bodega) vs Kevin Knight 

Two combatants from the NJPW LA Dojo and Strong wrestlers in the opener. The veteran Limelight is able to wear down Knight after a back and forth contest. Limelight hits a Spanish Fly but Knight kicks out. A half-Nelson suplex by Limelight after which he wraps Knight into a choke for the tap out around the 12 minute mark.

Memphis Women’s Championship: The Killer Bae” Heather Monroe (c) vs Ruby Raze vs Viva Van (with Halston Boddy) 

A lot of history here. Heather goes immediately out to the floor to confront her former manager Halston Boddy. Heather & Ruby attack him until Viva hits the outside with a dive. Her and Heather into the ring. Dom Kubrick to ringside to assist Halston.  Ruby attacks the two ladies and gains the advantage. She is an equal opportunity ass-kicker and goes after Dom while Heather & Viva go at it in the ring.  Monroe hits the Bitch Breaker on Van but runs into Raze. Van recovers and kicks Ruby in the head. She gets Monroe on her shoulders but crumples in the corner after multiple punches. Van escapes the Bitchinoku Driver and hits a suplex. Viva goes after Ruby. Van kicks out of a Samoan Drop 1,2, Monroe breaks up the pin. Ruby throws both women around until Heather & Van team up.  Van hits a bridge electric chair and gets a near fall before Raze kicks her in the back to break up the pin. Kubrick grabs Ruby and pulls her out of the ring. Monroe takes advantage and hits Van with a DDT variation 1,2,3.

Your winner and STILL Memphis Wrestling Women’s Champion: “The Killer Bae” Heather Monroe!

After the match, Savanah Stone saves Ruby Raze from an attack from Viva Van & Dom Kubrick.

EC3 vs. Slice Boogie 

Papo Esco and Danny Limelight escort Boogie to the ring but they go backstage. EC3 has stated he’s infiltrating promotions and he’s here in the United Wrestling Network to test the competition. After an internet outage the end almost comes after a tornado DDT by Boogie. EC3 gets his foot on the rope at 2 after a Statue of Misery. EC3 hits a low blow missed by the ref.  Slice Boogie gets caught in the cross-face. EC3 wins by submission and chicanery.

United Wrestling Television Championship (Bodega Street Fight) -  King Fatboy” Papo Esco (of The Bodega) vs “Timeless” Levi Shapiro (with Howdy Price) 

Howdy carries a box of potato chips with him that and passes them to the crowd the as the champion follows. 

The bell rings and Papo Esco goes on the attack. He beats down Shapiro in the turnbuckles and hits a splash. Levi is in trouble early. Shapiro to the floor and he receives and extended beatdown ring side and through the barricades and into commentary area. 

Back into the ring and Levi begs off but is able to lure Esco in for a low blow. Shapiro takes over on offense. He hits Esco with chips and cookies but graduates to the stairs and the Howdy’s belt to whip Papo. King Fatboy gets the strap and turns the tables on Shapiro. Back into the ring. Shapiro hits a bulldog on Esco for a 2 count.

Shapiro pours snacks onto the mat and tries to slam Papo onto them but he’s too big. Papo shoves Shapiro into the ropes he bounces off and gets a spine buster. Follows up with a headbutt but Shapiro avoids it and goes back on offense. Shapiro with a flying elbow, Papo with a weak kick out. Esco tries to recover and fight back. Howdy Price gets the ring bell to Shapiro and he nails Esco. Flying elbow for the pin 1,2 no! Papo kicks out. Howdy tries to give Shapiro a giant rice krispy treat. Danny Limelight intervenes and takes out Howdy. Shapiro puts on his brass knuckles. Papo Esco hits a crossbody and gets the brass knuckles. He clobbers Shapiro with them. 1,2,3!

The Bodega celebrate in the ring. 

It’s time for the Red Carpet Rumble.

1-2 will start the match. 2 minute intervals. Top rope eliminations until the final two combatants wrestle to a fall or submission. Winner gets a UWN Championship match

We start and #1 is Guy Tweakacetti against #2 Aron Stevens (FKA Damien Sandow). #3 Rob Spit enters and goes after Guy but he’s eliminated right away. Stevens decides to leave the match. #4 “Sweet” Robin Shaw gets Guy all to himself until #5 Ryan Morals enters who fails at trying for pick up Shaw. #6 Flex McCallion of “Beef Candy” who cleans house until running into Shaw. The ring starts to fill up as #7 AJ Mana enters. #8 is Dom Kubrick who doesn’t join the fray. He tries to sneak attack Shaw. #9 Slice Boogie enters trying to redeem his loss from earlier in the show. Still no eliminations as #10 Dr. Phil Goode OBGYN joins the fight. #11 Druken Master stumbles towards ringside but he finds his way in and goes after Flex & Kubrick. #12 Robert Baines he eliminates Dom. Druken Master is also tossed. #13 Jack Banning goes after Baines. Robin Shaw eliminates AJ Mana. Jack Banning eliminates Flex McCallion. #14 “Everlasting” Richie Slade of “Beef Candy”.  He enters and gets dumped onto McCallion who keeps Slade from hitting the floor. Slice Boogie is picked up by everyone and thrown onto Beef Candy and all are eliminated. #15 Gentleman Jervis goes after former friend Robin Shaw. 

Jervis chops Goode but Baines and Shaw attack him. #16 “Pretty” Peter Avalon to a big hometown reaction. He goes after everyone until the numbers game catches up to him. #17 Anthony Idol and he takes out Morals and Goode. Avalon goes after Idol as Banning and Baines continue to beat on Jervis and Shaw. #18 “The Goldenboy” Jordan Clearwater and he’s met by Jack Banning who last met in a last man standing match. Shaw eliminates Gemtleman Jervis. #19 Honest John drinks Baines super serem and he gets strong and tosses Baines. He throws flying knees to everyone. Idol gives John a suplex but he no sells. #20 Snypes who goes after John who appears to be turning back to normal. #21 Matt Brannigan and he goes after Banning. Tweakacetti is still passed out under the turnbuckle. #22 Miggy Rhodes followed by #23 Bulletproof Blake Troop enters and eliminates Brannigan, Snypes & Rhodes. 

#24 Andrew Everest is greeted by Idol until we see #25 Bad Dude Tito. Tito and Avalon go at it. Tito ended Avalon’s Heritage Championship 672 day title reign. #26 Ray Rosas is next and he gets right after Bad Dude Tito. Rosas eliminates Everest #27 Ju Dizz. Tito eliminates Honest John #28 Vinnie Massaro #29 BHK Kevin Martenson who tries to suplex Ju Dizz out from the apron. #30 Kevin Condron paces the ring and enters. He goes after Robin Shaw and slaps him. Tries to hit him with a kendo stick but it doesn’t work. A spear does and Condron is able to eliminate Shaw who is distracted and is taken out by Avalon . Bad Dude Tito is out so is Massaro and Dizz. PPA and Rosas team up to take out BHK and Anthony Idol. Clearwater hits Rosas who is on the apron with the Midas

Touch and Rosas is out. Bulletproof Troop takes out Avalon. Banning & Clearwater join forces to get Troop. Banning puts Troop in a choke. Clearwater dumps them both over and there is nobody left. But Guy Tweakacetti wakes from his nap and goes bananas on Clearwater with a series of near falls. Tweak to the top rope but is caught by Clearwater. He missed the Midas Touch. Tweakacetti hits a famouser but missed a senton. Midas Touch ends it as the Goldenboy earns a title shot. 

The PPV goes off the air with Jordan Clearwater celebrating!
