They wrestle to a 15 minute draw.
World Tag League 2021 Matches:
2. Tiger Mask and Yuji Nagata vs. Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, with Jado
G.O.D. attack at the bell. They focus on the smaller Tiger Mask and beat him down. Nagata tagged in to even the odds. Tama and Nagata battle on the floor. Tanga Loa hits Tiger Mask with a spear, a Blue Thunder Bomb and applies the Operation Jado Killer.
Tiger Mask taps out. Guerrillas get the win.
Easy night for Bullet Club. Tiger Mask is in the land of the giants. Visually speaking, how can Nagata and Tiger Mask compete against these bigger men?
3. Satoshi Kojima and Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto
Kojima and Tenzan overpowered their opponents for half of the match. YOSHI-HASHI and Goto fought back.
YOSHI-HASHI pins Tenzan after hitting GYW.
Both teams were working safe. Very few stiff shots.
4. Toru Yano and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Tomoaki Honma and Togi Makabe
Yano took off a turnbuckle pad and Honma went chest first into the metal bolt. Yano and Tanahashi had the advantage from that point. Makabe got the tag and he battled both men. Makabe and Yano fought to the floor and Tanahashi and Honma went at it in the ring. All four men were in the ring. Yano hit a double low blow on Honma and Makabe. Tanahashi hit Aces High, then a High Fly Flow on Honma.
Tanahashi pinned Honma.
5. Aaron Henare and Great O-Khan vs. Yujiro Takahashi and EVIL, with Dick Togo
Good teamwork by Henare and O-Khan who isolated EVIL in the early moments to take the advantage. United Empire looked like monsters which scared Yujiro away from helping his partner. Yujiro ripped off the turnbuckle pad and EVIL throws them both into the metal bolt. House of Torture has the upper hand. Henare tagged O-Khan. O-Khan had a chain and he choked Yujiro with it. Togo came from behind O-Khan and choked him with his piano wire. O-Khan let go of Yujiro, who rolled to the floor. O-Khan powered out of Togo's choke and chopped him in the throat, sending him to the floor. EVIL tried to hit his finisher on O-Khan. They reversed a bunch of moves, until O-Khan grabbed EVIL with a head and arm choke, and drove him to the mat, with a modified STO. Yujiro tries to attack O-Khan but gets caught in a Sheep Killer. Henare picks up the legs of Yujiro which added more pressure to the submission. O-Khan goes for the pin. Two count. O-Khan goes for an Eliminator but Yujiro pushes O-Khan into the referee. Togo chokes out O-Khan. Yujiro hits Henare with his Pimp Stick, then hits O-Khan. Togo and Yujiro hold O-Khan while EVIL gets a chair. Henare makes the save and kicks the chair into EVIL's face. Henare punches Togo out of the ring. Yujiro hits a reverse DDT on Henare. Yujiro is left alone in the ring as everyone rolls to the floor. Yujiro knows O-Khan is the legal man in the ring and goes to grab him by the hair from the outside of the ring. O-Khan has a wooden stick and he hits Yujiro in the chest. O-Khan smashes the stick into Yujiro's back. Henare comes back in the ring and picks up Yujiro in a fireman's carry position. O-Khan comes off the ropes they hit a modified 3D on Yujiro.

All the heel work in this match made sense. O-Khan attacked Yujiro with the chain first, which then brought in Togo with his tactics. Once United Empire started cheating then all bets were off for House of Torture. Yujiro used his Pimp Stick, so O-Khan used his stick to lead to the finish. My rhetorical question is: unless SHO was not in the building, why would he not help his partners like they helped him?
6. SANADA and Tetsuya Naito vs. TAKA Michinoku and Minoru Suzuki
Suzuki-Gun attacks at the bell and immediately goes to the floor. Suzuki takes a pen from the Japanese Announce table and tries to stab Naito in the face. They take the match in the ring and TAKA traps SANADA in an arm submission. Suzuki tags in and goes for arm submissions of his own. Pace of the match picks up. All four men battle in the ring. TAKA tries for a Michinoku Driver, but SANADA reverses out. He traps TAKA in Skull End. Suzuki tries for a save but Naito catches him in a neck submission.
SANADA forces TAKA to tap out to Skull End.
7. Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi vs. Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale
Tekkers had problems with Fale's power in the early moments of the match. They were able to take control once Owens was in the ring. Fale would take over when he was in the ring. Lots of reversals and double team moves. Tekkers were able to hit Holy Zack Driver on Owens.
ZSJ pinned Owens.
Good match. Dangerous Tekkers are performing at a high level now. Four teams stand at 4 points total in WTL 2021.
Zack Sabre Jr. addressed the crowd in Japanese, which they applauded for.

During the past two events, I have seen the wrestlers working much safer. They are "pulling their punches", so to speak, but trying to put on a good show. Fewer stiff shots between "strong-style" wrestlers. My belief is they are trying to keep everyone as healthy as possible for this long tour. Once WTL 2021 and BOSJ 28 ends, there is only 2 - 3 weeks to prepare for Wrestle Kingdom.
