At the start of the show, it was announced Yuko Miyamoto will not vacate the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship. Miyamoto recently suffered a fractured fibula in his right leg and is expected to be out of action for approximately three months.

Takuya Nomura made his successful second defense of the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship against Yuya Aoki in the main event.

Nomura will attempt his third defense of the title against Daichi Hashimoto at Big Japan’s show on December 12 in Korakuen Hall. Then, the winner of the bout will defend the title against Yuji Okabayashi at Big Japan’s show on January 2, 2022, in Korakuen Hall.

Before then, however, Daisuke Sekimoto and Yuji Okabayashi will attempt their first defense of the BJW Tag Team Championships against Ryota Hama and Yasufumi Nakanoue at Big Japan’s show on December 30 in Korakuen Hall.

Dragon Gate

Shoot-style promotion Hard Hit has announced Dragon Gate’s YAMATO will team with Hikaru Sato against Minoru Suzuki and a mystery partner at its show on December 30 in Shin-Kiba 1st Ring.

However, adjusting the brightness of the match graphic seemingly reveals Kohei Tokeshi as Suzuki’s partner. Tokeshi is currently signed to mixed martial arts promotion RIZIN Fight Federation and scheduled to fight Juri Ohara at the company’s RIZIN 32 event on November 20 in Okinawa Arena.

Dragon Gate held its seventh The Gate of Evolution tour show today in Kokurakita Gym.
