For those of you traveling to the New York City area for Survivor Series this weekend, the following events are slated for this weekend in the NYC Metropolitan area.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 20th

Tony Nese will challenge NYWC Champion Rex Lawless in the main event of the New York Wrestling Connection's return to Deer Park, Long Island at the NYWC Sportatorium.  AEW's Alex Reynolds & John Silver who like Nese originally started here will be wrestling plus Willow Nightingale vs. Tina San Antonio, Cory Cooper & Joey Conway vs. Robert Franklin & Dickie Rodz, Michael Mistretta addressing the audience and more has been announced.  Mistretta recently appeared on Judge Jerry.   For tickets, visit www.NWYCWrestling.com.

The Penta Hotel, which sits across the street from Madison Square Garden and hosted the Herb Abrams UWF promotion's events in NYC in the early 1990s, is slated to be demolished.  The 100 year old hotel was also the host venue for a ton of pop culture events including the legendary Fangoria Weekend of Horror conventions.  The hotel's phone number Pennsylvania 6-5000 inspired the Glenn Miller song of the sang title, which was a huge hit when it was released in 1940.  While the hotel shuttered at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, it's still there if you want to take a look at the outside.

For those who have asked about whether Madison Square Garden is hosting any behind the scenes tours this weekend, that tour has not resumed since the pandemic.
