Some notes from the AEW Full Gear Post-PPV Scrum:
-Jay Lethal just met Tony Khan today, was surprised at the reaction he got, and as Mike Johnson reported earlier, is done with ROH and will not be at ROH Final Battle.
-Tony Khan thought up the idea for AEW in the hotel across the street from Target Center while visiting for a friend's wedding
-The plan for who would hold the AEW World title has remained the same. The four people who have held it have been the plan since day one.
-Tony Khan stated AEW is looking to do more with DC Comics next year.
-Hanfman Page said that his story has a lot of twists and turns over the last two years and plans changed constantly with the pandemic and other obstacles the company has had.
-Dante Martin was blown away at how much the crowd loved him and still seemed overwhelmed in the scrum. His brother is healing well but no timetable on return.
-Lance Archer was at the show tonight, had a twisted neck a few weeks ago and has been checked out a few times to make sure he's healing.
-Tony Khan has not talked to Jon Moxley directly, only through his wife Renee, but she says Mox is doing the work and getting better.
-AEW wants to go to Canada and England when they are able and when it makes sense. The pandemic has complicated that and they are waitingit for COVID issues to make it viable.
-AEW is looking to open up its touring now to new markers, now that they are finishing up their Make Good dates that were postponed due to the pandemic.
-They are working directly with New Japan and Khan speaks with Gedo about plans.
