Former Ring of Honor Champion Jay Lethal officially debuted in AEW tonight at Full Gear in Minneapolis, coming out for an interview with Tony Schiavone before the main event.
Lethal announced he was "All Elite" and issued a challenge to Sammy Guevara for the TNT title this Wednesday on Dynamite.
Lethal's existing Ring of Honor deal was slated to expire at the end of 2021 before the promotion announced it would go on hiatus after the 12/11 Final Battle PPV.
AEW later tweeted this, which is saved for exclusively contracted talents:
