11/13 New Japan’s Best of Super Junior 28 from Korakuen Hall, Tokyo Japan:

This is Nakashima’s second match before New Japan crowd since he broke his elbow during his first match against Yuya Uemura in February 2021.

EVIL comes to ringside and House of Torture celebrates in the ring.
Good match. The cheating was too much, but it is what it is. SHO now earns a title shot against El Desperado in the future. It could be at Wrestle Kingdom or sooner. Whoever wins BOSJ 28 should get the title shot at Wrestle Kingdom.
The card was shorter than I expected. However, I think the shorter matches will keep wrestlers healthy and safe. With shorter matches may come more storyline angles, as we saw in this event, which is not a bad thing. BOSJ 28 and World Tag League will be long tournaments and Wrestle Kingdom is not far behind. New Japan will need to keep their wrestlers in peak form to be ready for three nights of Wrestle Kingdom.
