It appears the much talked about Jason Momoa-Dave Bautista untitled Lethal Weapon-style buddy cop comedy set in Hawaii has been willed into existance by both stars.
Deadline.com is reporting that it appears that MGM has won a bidding war for the right to develop this project. The film will be written by Jonathan Tropper, who worked with Bautist anad Momoa on the AppleTV+ drama See. They hope to shoot the film in 2023.
