Musical artist Bad Bunny appeared on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah this week, discussing a number of topics, including his foray into WWE earlier this year, which climaxed with Bunny teaming with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison at Wrestlemania 37 in Orlando, Florida.
Trevor Noah: So do what you love. I think that's, that's one of the things I admire about you, you work hard, you speak out and you, you show up for the causes that you believe in. And then you take three months off of making music to go and prepare to be a wrestler in the WWE. Talk me through that process. How do you go from making music to going? No, I'm going to go and I'm going to fight in the WWE and you're trained for real, by the way. This is real training.

Trevor Noah: Who was your favorite wrestler growing up?
Bad Bunny: I have a couple. Triple H. The Undertaker, but I had been collaborating with, with wrestlers in my songs. Stone Cold, Ric Flair. So, I think they started to watch and say, who is this guy? At the end, they made me the invitation and they asked me, what are you going to do? I said, I want to fight. They said, 'Are you sure?" and I said, 'Oh, I want to. I want to do.' I'm going to do whatever I have to do you, you know?
Trevor Noah: So did you enjoy it?
Bad Bunny: Yeah. Yeah, it was hard, but I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the whole process because I think that was something I needed, you know, because with the pandemic and all the stuff. I dropped three albums but there's no...
Trevor Noah: Yeah, no performances, performances with COVID. You couldn't feel the crowd. You couldn't get that energy.
