By Mike Johnson on 2021-11-11 20:02:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com's BTI - Before the Impact on AXS TV report!

Our hosts are Josh Mathews and Gia Miller.  Jon Burton is hiding right behind the cameras, I guess.  They went right into a hard sell for the 11/20 PPV.

They showed highlights of last week's six man tag with Moose and Josh Alexander captaining teams.

They showed Laredo Kid becoming the top contender for the X-Division Championship.

They showed highlights of Mickie James' first Knockouts Championship defense against Madison Rayne.

They showed Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers vs. FinJuice.

George the Iceman's inside intel is that Mike Bailey is getting a visa soon.

Savannah Evans vs. Rachael Ellering

They faced off and jawed at each other before locking up.  Neither would give an inch and they shoved each other off before locking up again.  Evans muscled Ellering into the corner but she escaped and went for a waistlock takedown to no avail.

They started slugging it out but Evans blocked a right.  They went for shoulderblocks but there was no effect.  Ellering nailed a forearm.  Evans charged and Ellering dropped down and pulled the top rope with her so Ellering went over the top to the floor.  After some counsel from Tasha Steelz, Evans returned to the ring, where she was attacked by Ellering.

Ellering tried to whip her into the ropes but Evans was too strong.  She nailed Ellering and scored a two count, then drilled her with some hard shots in the corner.   Evans nailed a running Avalanche in the corner and hit a big Beel Toss out of the corner.  She followed up with another Avalanche, followed by a butterfly suplex for a two count.

Ellering was tossed to the floor, where Steelz stomped away at her as the referee was distracted.  Jordynne Grace chased her away and checked on her partner.   Ellering rolled back into the ring, where she avoided another Avalanche.

Ellering nailed a jawbreaker, followed by several strikes but is caught with a nice butterfly suplex.  Evans worked over Ellering's back.  Ellering kiced off several charges in the corner and nailed a pump kick, then another dropkick to the head.  Ellering scored a two count with a twisting legdrop off the ropes.

Ellering escaped a Fireman's Carry and nailed a TKO on Evans, going for the pin.  Steelz distracted the referee, so Grace attacked her and they battled on the floor.  Evans kicked out at two.

Ellering went for a move but Evans blocked it.  Evans nailed a big chokeslam and scored the pin.

Your winner, Savannah Evans!

A solid bout.  Evans is totally believable as a monster bad-ass.

Josh and Gia previewed Impact to close up out.
