over the years, and have kept her in your prayers during her battle with dementia. Judy Bagwell was 78. RIP Judy 1943-2021

Bagwell, well known within the industry for overlooking her son's career, became part of WCW storylines in 1999, including a storyline where Rick Steiner picked her to be his WCW World Tag Team Championship partner after his partner Kaos was injured with the idea being that the NWO, including Judy's son, wouldn't touch her. Bagwell never lost the titles as Steiner suffered a injury and the belts were stripped from the team.
There was later a storyline where the late Chris Kanyon began harassing Judy on camera, leading to "Judy Bagwell On a Pole" bout with Buff Bagwell vs. late Kanyon at the New Blood Rising 2000 PPV. During her time on camera with WCW, Bagwell did wrestle twice, going to a no contest against Kanyon on the 7/25/00 edition of Nitro and then teaming with her son to defeat Kanyon and Pamela Paulshock on 8/7/00 episode of Monday Nitro.
