PWInsider.com can confirm Matt Tremont was admitted to a burn ward yesterday at a New Jersey hospital following his main event match at H2O Destiny in Trenton, NJ, which streamed live at IWTV.Live from the Trenton Thunder Stadium.
The finish of the bout saw Onita light a barbed wire board on fire and sent Tremont into the board. Tremont's gear was burning as he came off before the bump put the fire out and Onita pinned him.
Tremont was said to have been in increasing amounts of pain once the adrenaline from the match wore off, leading to him being taken to the hospital.
