Welcome to PWInsider.com's live, ongoing coverage of H20 Wrestling's Destiny from the Trenton Thunder Stadium in Trenton, NJ!
PRE-SHOW NOTES:
The weather is with the show tonight as it's a clear night after two days of rain locally.
Atsushi Onita and Matt Tremont are signing together for $60 with a massive line spanning the entire stadium waiting for their turn.
Homicide is visiting.
There will be six or seven matches total.
Onita brought a ton of merchandise from Japan, including photo books from his career, ring worn vest and shirts, plastic jars of ring used barbed wire from specific FMW-E events, FME shirts and hoodies and more.
There are three technicians from FMW-E who came from Japan here to wire the ring for the main event.
The show opened with an announced four way won by Big Red Ryan Renfield after he nailed a big spinebuster on one of his opponents. Everyone battled at the same time but unfortunatley, I couldn’t make out the names live. One was Deckland Grant. Everyone battled at the same time. There were some nice dives.
Four Way for H20 Tag Team Champions Chris Bradley & Kristian Ross won a Four Way over WTF, Bobby Dempsey & Mike Quest and Jeff Cannonball & Tara Calaway.
Cannonball and Calaway got, by far, the largest reaction of anyone coming out. She got drilled early with a hard kick. They did a giant sleeperhold with everyone locking it on everyone else then everyone fell out of the ring to the floor. Everyone worked hard here but being so far from the ring, a little confusing as to who was who with so many people involved.
H2O Hybrid Champion Kennedi Copeland vs. Mickie Knuckles vs. Jenny Rose vs. Masha Slamovich vs. Kasey Catal.
Everyone battled at the bell as Masha sat on the buckles watching the brawl. Catal and Rose battled to the floor. Mickie fought with Copeland and nailed a dive through the ropes, sending them to the floor. Masha called for a dive and nailed a flip off the top to the floor.
Masha brought Kuckles and Catal back into the ring and scored a two count. She controlled the ring for some time. She whipped Catal into the corner and scored with a running boot in the buckles. Catal was caught in the treee of woe with Copeland whipped into her. Lots of near falls.
Knuckles chopped away on Catal and powerbombed her roughly. She did the same to Copeland, slapping her down, then slamming her atop Catal. She began whipping out German suplexes on Masha. Rose broke up a pinfall. Everyone was down and fought to their feet.
Mickie began drilling Masha over and over with headbutts. They drilled each other in the head as everyone else fought to their feet and battled. Knuckles nailed an evil overhead belly to belly suplex into the corner on Masha. Rose nailed a lariat. Copeland escaped a Kryptonite Krunch and turned it into a forward roll and scored the pin on Catal.
Your winner and still Hybrid Champion, Kennadi Copeland!
Pretty entertaining.
Danny Havoc, Bad Boy Hido & Hideki Hosaka Memorial Hardcore Rumble
They are starting with four competitors and then will have entrants three at a time. I couldn't catch a lot of the names. Mouse and Connor Claxton were in the initial group. They battled. Crazy Ivan from the old JAPW promotion popped up. Lowlife Louie Ramos got a big pop. There were weapons involved. Bam Sullivan and Neal Diamond Cutter joined the fray. Ivan and Ramos brawled back to the dugout everyone was coming out from.
Ruckus and Robbie Illuminati got a nice pop coming out as BLK OUT. Larry Legend, yes, the ring announcer, was part of this. They kept teasing a final competitor and it was FMW Leather. He hit the ring with a chainsaw but everyone overwhelmed him. Everyone battled. The crowd wasn't happy when Ruckus was eliminated right after he hit a moonsault into a double stomp on someone.
It came down to FMW Leather and Kaide Lothbrock and they battled back and forth. Leather missed a moonsault but finally scored the last elimination to win.
Your winner, FMW Leather!
Leather took the mic and said it took a lot to put this show together. He said that everyone comes out to bust their butt and show their passion. He thanked everyone in Japan who accepted him.
