WWE NXT Coach and Producer Steve Corino is at tonight's Smackdown taping working as a Producer, PWInsider.com has confirmed. Corino was also at last week's Smackdown taping.
Until earlier this month (see below), Corino had last wrestled in 2016, losing to Cody Rhodes in Ring of Honor. In 2017, Corino exited his position as a ROH announcer to work as a WWE Performance Center Coach and Producer.
One of the best matches of the year from a storytelling standpoint was Corino returning to the ring for one night only against his son Colby Corino for the younger Corino's 25th birthday. The match has been released for free online by the PWF in North Carolina:
