Beyond Wrestling “Uncharted Territory: Season 3, Episode 4”

10/28/21 - Worcester, MA

Streaming on IWTV.live

We return to the White Eagle on this chilly Worcester evening. Tonight we welcome home Beyond wrestlers old and new, all fresh off various appearances at the AEW taping last night. Of course, we’re ready to cheer for the Meat Man Jon Silver and boo that scumbag Alex Reynolds into the cold cold ground. Dark Order allegiances be damned, this is Worcester. Rich Palladino is your announcer. Paul Crockett and Fitness Magazine’s Number One ranked Richard Simmons protégé Sidney Bakabella are behind the commentary table tonight. But of course we have to warm up this evening’s crowd with our weekly Spotlight Match!

Spotlight Match: “Megasus” Megan Bayne vs Little Mean Kathleen

We’re kicking it off with the manic energy of LMK AFD….unfortunately, she’s across the ring from the PRESENCE that is Megan Bayne. She annoys Bayne early with a flurry of holds and quick dodges before Megasus plants her with a powerslam. LMK tries to fight back with the crowd behind her but eats a huge vertical suplex. Bayne pummels her with knees but posts herself on a corner charge. LMK with the jogging stomps in the corner. Bayne catches a crossbody and tombstones LMK for the pin. Fun start. LMK is extremely vocal in her sells. It’s great.

Winner: Megan Bayne

And we’re liiiiive!

Match 1: “The Handsome Devil” Alex Reynolds (w/ Smart Mark Sterling & VSK) vs Teddy Goodz

Reynolds is clearly unhappy to be under Sterling’s guidance tonight as he has new friends in 2021 and it’s not 2019 anymore. Is Reynolds not a scumbag anymore?!? Sterling cuts off all Reynolds Dark Order-isms and force him into their previous Whatever It Takes poses. Reynolds assures Teddy that Sterling doesn’t speak for him and looks to have a good clean wrestling match. Some good chain wrestling to kick this off. Reynolds with a near fall on a crucifix pin. Goodz is fired up but Reynolds with a cravat neckbreaker for two. Sterling keeps distracting Reynolds and the ref on the apron while VSK beats up Goodz on the outside. Reynolds is suspicious but keeps the match going…VSK runs interference and Sterling chokes out Goodz on the apron. Goodz finally stuns Reynolds, hitting a series of running elbows and corner chops. Backpack stunner! Kickout! Goodz tries a powerbomb off the top but Reynolds backdrops him out of there. Goodz dodges a moonsault! Iconoclasm! Sterling pulls out the ref! VSK with a low blow and Reynolds sees it! He shoves VSK off the apron. “I GOT THIS!” Reynolds with a pop up knee to the face and a fisherman’s driver for the three count. Reynolds shoves down Sterling, prompting a double team from Sterling and VSK until Goodz makes the save and runs them off. Fun action but I really liked how they told the story of Reynolds fighting with then and now.

Winner: Alex Reynolds

Match 2: Kings of the District (Eel O’Neal & Jordan Blade) vs The Rep (Dave McCall & Nate Carter)

I’ve been hype for this match since it was announced. Rep with a handshake ambush and Eel has to kick out quick. Backbreaker/Stampede combo from the Rep as they work over O’Neal right from the bell. McCall with some high chest kicks. Carter gets Blade in trouble with the ref so he can foot choke Eel. Leapfrog senton for two! Pop up falcon arrow and Blade gets in there to break up the pin. Carter with a delay double underhook uranage. Eel finally shows some fight and scoots under Carter to get Jordan in. Blade going wild with running elbows. Saito to Carter! Leg trap suplex to McCall! Snap powerslam to Carter! Rep tries a double powerbomb but Blade rana’s them out of it. Blade with a kick to the face, Eel lariat to the back of the head and another Blade kick completes the flurry to keep Carter down for the three. Jordan calls out Trish Adora for a shot at the Pan Afrikan World Diaspora Championship next week! And at Somerville next weekend? KOTD challenges Adora and a partner of her choice! Blade came out of this match looking super strong for her shot at Adora. The Rep doesn’t have the best record in Beyond but they make an impact every time they’re here and we love them for it.

Winners: Kings of the District

Match 3: Matt Makowski vs Ryan Galeone

Makowski comes charging in and that just makes Galeone mad. He tries the flying armbar but Galeone spins and tosses him out of it. Galeone leapfrogs over a baseball slide to the outside! Wow! They battle to the top! Galeone gets tossed off the buckles and tries to tap out the big man. Makowski with kicks and punches that finally keep Galeone grounded….but not done. Galeone standing and fighting with Weapon X. Matt comes off the top and Galeone catches him into a backbreaker. Huge release powerbomb for a closer two count than CM Punk and Bobby Fish. Galeone tries the bomb again but Makowski slips into a sleeper and hits a running forearm to the back of the head for two. Frog splash across the ring! Galeone out at one WITH AUTHORITY. One handed slam from Galeone! Two count. Battling in the center, Galeone to a knee and Makowski hits a shining wizard. Makowski wraps up the head and arm choke but Galeone gets the rope again. Galeone with a big boot and slingshots off the top rope and flips into Makowski. CRAZY HEIGHT! Two Count! Makowski quickly slaps on the armbar and Galeone is finally forced to tap. This Worcester crowd may turn Weapon X with how much they hated to see Galeone lose here. Really Good match!

Winner: Matt Makowski

It’s time for the Discovery Gauntlet! You gotta win it to stay in it! Can Waves & Curls keep their run going?

Match 4: Waves & Curls (Trayvon Jordan & Jaelyn Brandyn)(c) vs Joe Keys & Dante Caballero

Dante and Keys come in with the quick ambush and focus on beating down Jordan early. Jaelyn tags in and cleans house. He tries a suicide dive but his feet catch the ropes and he wipes out on the floor. Dante and Keys use this mishap to their advantage and work to give Jaelyn as much heat as he can take. Jaelyn leaps out of danger and gets Jordan in there! Huge running corner clotheslines and a leg lariat/ddt combo to both for a near fall. Keys fighting back against both. Jaelyn hits the suicide dive for real this time and gets back in there to blast Dante with the Wave Check for the pin! Dante & Keys never really felt like a threat here but the crowd was just pumped to see another Waves & Curls entrance, victory and speech. They are having a Thomas Santell-like run so far.

Winners: Waves & Curls

Next week, Waves & Curls take on the Prestigious! Traevon finishes eating a quesadilla before reminding everyone that Waves & Curls is movin’ on up!

Match 5: Wheeler Yuta vs Masha Slamovich

The crowd is firmly behind the Russian Dynamite against the former IWTV champ.  He tries a shotgun dropkick at the bell but hits air and canvas. They trade shots and a series of fast reversals to a stalemate. Masha take control with chops around the ring. Yuta fights her off the top and comes down with that shotgun dropkick. Yuta wraps her up but Masha toughs her way out. Drop tow hold to the second and a apron kick, Masha runs into a high velocity spinning backbreaker. Masha trying to chop her way out of trouble but Yuta rakes the eyes. Yuta runs into a boot and Masha decides to feed him several more of though. Yuta hits an Olympic slam out of nowhere for two! Frog splash off the top! Kick out! Masha fights out of a German and hits one of her own! Trading shots in the center, Yuta is dropped. Masha with a full Nelson suplex. Yuta with a huge lariat and traps Masha’s arm in a butterfly cradle for the three! Really liked this! Yuta offers a hand. They trade a pair of chest chops before they do shake on it. Yuta may have returned from the dark side as well?

Winner: Wheeler Yuta

Yuta acknowledges that Matt Makowski WANTS to fight him next week at Uncharted Territory. Yuta says…nah. How about in December at Fete Music! But next week? Makowski can fight an old tag team partner of Yuta’s. Oh yes. Next week it’s HOT SAUCE TRACY WILLIAMS! Makowski ambushes Yuta from behind and the double turn is complete!

Match 6: Chris Dickinson & Willow Nightingale vs Brandon & Casey Kirk

The most hated couple in deathmatch wrestling is here in Beyond! Casey tries to knock on Dickinson’s unique trunks and he asks Willow to take her out. Casey with a slap. Willow with a slam and senton for two. Brandon in and takes her down with a shoulder block. Willow IS the babe with the power and gives him one back. Dickinson in and Brandon dodging those dirty chest kicks. Dickinson taking a bunch of damage from the Kirks. Dickinson fights out of an ankle hold with up kicks and gets the tag. Willow clubs down Casey and beats on Brandon in the corner. Casey tries to make the save but Willow hits her with a pounce. Spine buster to Brandon! Kick out! Casey tries to interfere again but Dickinson hits an atomic drop! Casey pulls out Dickinson and posts him as the Kirks go to work on Willow. Dickinson wipes out Brandon and Willow hits the gutwrench sitout powerbomb on Casey for the pin. Dickinson and Willow did a great job keeping the crowd energy up. The Kirks have nuclear heat elsewhere but I think they need to do some work to earn a similar reaction in Worcester.

Winners: Chris Dickinson & Willow Nightingale

Main Event: Jon Silver vs “The Dimepiece” Aaron Rourke (w/ Bryce Donovan, Bobby Orlando and Cam Zagami)

This is a lot of meat for Jon Silver to snack on tonight. The crowd is WILD for Silver’s return. Rourke clearly didn’t watch his tapes as decides to overpower Silver. Silver sends him to the canvas repeatedly and poses. Silver dares Rourke to hit the ropes. He tries. He really does. Silver shows him how THAT is done. Silver with the loudest chest kicks in wrestling before tossing Rourke corner to corner like a bag of laundry. Hotshot, running uppercut, Meat on the top! Bobby interferes and Rourke crotches Silver on the top buckle. Rourke working over Silver while he can. Silver eats a knee and a fisherman’s suplex for two. Rourke comes running and Silver sends him flying overhead. More chest kicks and a high angle back body drop! Rourke tries a leapfrog but gets powerbombed for two! The ref is distracted by Rourke and Shook Crew swarms…and Silver suplexes them out of there. Rourke uses the distraction to hit. Falcon arrow while Zagami helps Donovan and Orlando to the back. Silver intercepts Rourke on the top but gets sent crashing down. Silver back up there before Silver gets to the top and sent flipping to the mat below. Silver with a flurry and hits a Brian buster but Rourke gets the rope. Rourke with a defiant middle finger as Solver serves up more chest kicks that flatten him. Rourke back up and trading forearms.  Rourke tries a backslide but Silver is on him. Wild trading of kicks and reversals! Rourke with a sitout bomb for two! Rourke tries a split leg moonsault but eats knees. Rourke almost steals the pin on a sunset flip rollup. Silver sends him to hell with a Spin Doctor for the three count! This was great!

Winner: Jon Silver

Club Cam swarms the ring and stomps out Silver. Alex Reynolds hits the ring to save his Dark Order brother. He clears Club Cam out of there before a reunited Beaver Boys lay Cam out with a flurry of moves. Reynolds on the mic and said what a blast they had tonight. He talks about the power of Uncharted Territory allowing them to wrestle for in front of us every week. Silver takes the mic and says he doesn’t do a lot of indie bookings….but Beyond? He has to do it! Beyond was instrumental in getting them to AEW. Huge chant for Beyond head honcho Drew Cordero. But before Siover & Reynolds go? They induct the entire crowd into Dark Order. <makes a claw in the air>

And that’s it for Episode 4! Jesus, what a wild night of action this was. If last week was more a technically focused slow burn of a show, tonight was all fire and story. Hell of a card where just about everything delivered.

For Next week: Alec price vs SLADE. Trish vs Jordan blade. Yo Kai vs Willow and Dickinson. Makowski vs Tracy Williams.

At Reverse the curse on Nov 7 - Becca vs Jody threat. Yuta vs Jeff Cobb. Alec price vs RSP!

On DEC 5th At Fete Music- Makowski vs Yuta. Dan Barry vs Dutch (no DQ). Also Ruby soho returns!
