Dave Herro's Great Lakes Championship Wrestling has announced the main event of their 20201 Blizzard Brawl event on 12/4 in Waukesha, Wisconsin with the artist formerly known as Braun Strowman, Adam Scherr teaming with EC3 vs. Jake Something & Rohit Raju in the main event. The season finale of Dark Side of the Ring this Thursday on Vice TV will look at the Vince McMahon steroid distribution trial.
Actor Tyler Mane, who wrestled for WCW as Big Sky many years ago, will be appearing at the New Jersey Horror Convention the weekend of 11/12 in Atlantic City, NJ.
The Northeastern version of Big Time Wrestling is running their first live events in some time next month as they are running Altoona, PA on 11/12 at the Blair County Convention Center with Rhino vs. Dan Maff, James Storm, MLW's Richard Holliday, James Ellsworth, Konnor of the Ascension and Scott Hall & Kevin Nash appearing. The next night, 11/13 they return to Hicksville, NY in Long Island at the Hicksville Athletic Center with Brian Myers vs. Fandango, plus Bully Ray, Kane, Hall and Nash, Holliday, Maff and more. MCW announced they will hold the 2021 Shane Shamrock Cup at the MCW Arena in Joppa, Maryland on 11/12. Competing in the Cup thus far are Jake Crist, Sam Adonis, Shannon Moore, PJ Hawkx and Ruckus. If Hawx wins, he'd follow in the footsteps of his father, Luke Hawx. Diamond Dallas Page and Luke Hawx are also appearing on the event. The promotion, which is among the most professional and best run independent groups to ever exist, has Chelsea Green vs. Tenilla Dashwood set for Millersville, MD as well Mickie James appearing as a guest referee. AEW's Penta will be debuting on 10/29 in Baltimore at the FPX Theater Eastpoint-Flagship Cinemas. Sam Adonis and the debuting Tony Deppen are also set for that event. The Patriotic Wrestling Federation will be debuting in Clover, SC on 11/13 for a fundraiser for the Clover High School Wrestling Team. The Rock N' Roll Express, Nikita Koloff, Baby Doll and Tommy Young will be appearing on the show as will Marcus Kross (who has popped up on AEW Dark), The Soul Patrol and my newest favorite tag team name, The Moonshine Express. Empire State Wrestling will return to Niagara Falls, NY on 11/27 at the Frontier Fire Hall with Daniel Garcia vs. Kevin Blackwood for the ESW title plus Tony Deppen, KTB and Facade appearing.
The 12/18 return of Battleground Championship Wrestling to the 2300 Arena will feature Rhino vs. PCO in a Philly Street Fight, NWA Women's Champion Kamille vs. Mercedes Martinez, Laredo Kid vs. Drago, Buddy Matthews (Murphy) vs. Tony Nese, Ray Jaz vs. KC Navarro and more. The last event legitimately sold out the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia with a line so long, they had to delay bell time by an hour, so if you want to attend, buy the tickets and get there early.
Prestige Pro Wrestling announced Davey Richards vs. Malakai Black for their 2/20/22 event at The Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon.
