MLW NEWS AND NOTES

New Japan Pro Wrestling's Will Ospreay was announced as coming in during last night's Vice TV Fightland TV special.  There's been some rumblings of Jeff Cobb potentially coming in as well.

MLW Fightland can be watched on Vice TV's On Demand platforms if you have the channel on your cable provider.

New MLW Champion Alexander Hammerstone suffered a badly sprained ankle during his match with Jacob Fatu but gutted through it.  Hammerstone has pulled himself off his bookings this weekend to rest the ankle.

The November MLW return is slated to feature the War Chamber match on 11/6 in Philadelphia.  MLW will skip December in Philly but will return there in January 2022 and beyond.

Jacob Fatu losing the title is not a sign of an impending exit as he's only a few years into a five year agreement with MLW.  I think it's pretty obvious every promotion in the world should be looking at him, but he's locked in.

There will be a Thanksgiving night airing of MLW Fusion Alpha.

Next week's MLW Fusion: Alpha will be headlined by Mil Muertes vs. Richard Holliday.
