Beyond Wrestling “Uncharted Territory Season 3: Ep 1”
10/7/21 - Worcester, MA
Live on IWTV.live
Indie wrestling’s best weekly program is kicking off its third season tonight, the first of many weeks in Worcester as we head towards Beyond’s big returns to Somerville and Providence over the next couple of months…as well as the WRESTIVAL coming at the end of the year. I’m here live tonight, the show is streaming on IWTV. Rich Palladino is your announcer. Paul Crockett and Sidney Bakabella are your stalwart commentary team. Let’s see what Beyond has in store for us tonight! Like previous seasons, we’re getting a dark match to warm us us before we go live!
Spotlight Match: “The Big Boy from Brooklyn” Tyree Taylor vs “Cashflow” Ken Broadway
Big lockup and Broadway tries to outmuscle the big man. That doesn’t work out so well and he gets piefaced. Broadway with a big slap in return for that disrespect. Taylor is strong but Broadway catches him with a high kick to the head and sends him to the floor. Broadway with a dropkick sends Taylor off the apron repeatedly. Broadway with a dive. He tries to come off the top but Taylor bounces the rope and sends Ken crashing to the floor. Trading chops and forearms. Taylor powers out of a full Nelson and back suplex attempt. Taylor sweeps the leg and gives Broadway a curb stomp-style elbow drop. I liked that spot a lot. Kick out. Big superkick from Broadway and he gets the saito suplex for two! Broadway up with a PK and another two count. Taylor is still crawling towards Broadway. Ken off the top, Taylor ducks under, hits a discus lariat and a Huuuuuuuge sitout powerbomb for the pin!
Winner: Tyree Taylor

And we’re liiiiiiiiive on IWTV! (cue “Bro Hymn”)
Rich Palladino is going through the opening announcements when he is cut off by IWTV champ Wheeler Yuta. We’re right to the “F*** YOU YUTA!” chants. Yuta is (legitimately) upset that the IWTV champ doesn’t have a match on Beyond’s season opener. Yuta wants a non title warmup before his IWTV defense against Alex Shelley tomorrow. He invites an open challenge. LEYLA HIRSCH is here to answer him! Leyla says her career took off in Beyond and Yuta used to be her tag partner….but now? He’s a little b****. She dares him to put the IWTV belt on the line tonight….YUTA accepts!
Match 1: Leyla Hirsch vs Wheeler Yuta(c) (for the IWTV championship)
Leyla swarms and scrambles all over Yuta, forcing him quickly to the rope. Another sequence and Yuta goes to the ropes for safety. Yuta finally trying to put things together and gets armdragged into a bad hold. Leyla keeping him grounded, but the champ works into a head scissor. Yuta brings her up but she springboards off with a rana. Yuta replies with a top rope dropkick that folds her in half. Yuta applies the heat, slamming and stomping Leyla around while the crowd gives him hell for existing. Basement dropkick to the face and Leyla kicks out again and again. Yuta brings her to the top but she fights out and hits a sunset flip German off the top! Leyla with a huge saito suplex for two! Wheeler tries to powder but Leyla hits a pair of suicide dives to the champ! Leyla with an armbar and it’s deep! Yuta picks her up and hits a spinning backbreaker! Leyla and Yuta battle to their feet, trading shots. Yuta tries to leverage with hair but Leyla decks him. He wants the Yutap but Leyla swerves into a German and a moonsault for a close call. She transitions right to the armbar! Yuta might tap??? He gets to the rope! Yuta powders, grabs his belt and tries to walk out the back. Matt Makowski cuts him off and points him back to his fate. Yuta gets back in, rolled up for two! Yuta sent into the post and Leyla gets the armbar again! Yuta struggles hard but makes the rope. To the apron, Yuta slams Hirsch to it. He picks her up in the Yutap! She taps. What a match!
Winner: Wheeler Yuta
Matt Makowski is out to stare Yuta down. Yuta might have to go through Alex Shelley but Weapon X is waiting his turn.
Match 2: Masha Slamovich & “Weapon X” Matt Makowski vs “The Shooterweight” Yoya & Janai Kai
Masha and Kai work each other’s technical chops in the early exchanges before Slamovich decks and tosses her. Kai with a couple of ungodly chest kicks in the corner for two. Masha gets to trading kicks and chops with Kai, prompting the appropriate amounts of Owwwww’a from the crowd. Yoya in but Masha overwhelms him and gets Makowski in there to do more damage. Yoya reverses a powerbomb into a rana. Makowski catches a crossbody into a big slam! Yoya escapes a suplex to get the tag. Kai dodging Makowski and they trade standup shots. Double leg kicks, Makowski stuns her and hits a brain buster for two. Kai fighting back but Makowski with a rollup and flying heel kick for two. Makowski holds Kai in a vertical suplex while Masha tags in to finish the combo with a crossbody off the top. Masha with a driver to Yoya for two. She picks him up and blasts a burning hammer. Makowski tags in and locks in the arm bar for the immediately tap while Masha dives on Kai in the corner! This was a lot of fun.
Winner: Makowski & Slamovich
Makowski wants a shot at the championship but Yuta won’t fight him. But in two weeks, someone WILL fight Makowski. Davey. Richards.
It’s time for the VSK Open Challenge! Sterling says they need to get done quick because he has to catch a flight to the Rampage taping. He’s riding high on his victory over Teddy Goodz at “Borscht at the Beach”. So who is the challenger? Little Mean Kathleen!!!
Match 3: VSK (w/ Smart Mark Sterling) vs Little Mean Kathleen
This crowd is HOTTTTTT for LMK. Sterling and VSK are laughing it off. LMK keeps knocking Sterling’s wrestling buddy into the crowd (I think it loses $5 in value for every bump it takes). VSK gets dirty quick, taking the eyes and choking LMK on the second rope. Sterling uses that wrestling buddy to choke her out in the corner. Headlock takedown and running uppercut to the back of the head by VSK for two. LMK dodges a yakuza kick and hits a cross body for two. Jogging stomps in the corner! LMK spikes him with a tilt a whirl DDT. VSK throws her out of a bulldog attempt and hits a spike piledriver. VSK has the pin but he pulls it at two. Double underhook brain buster! He pulls the pin again! He hits a powerbomb on the knees, crazy looking bump. LMK kicks out! Sterling trying to get involved again and Teddy Goodz is out to even the odds. He runs VSK and Sterling out of the ring but gets LMK disqualified in the process. LMK’s energy is so over the top, I love it.
Winner (by DQ): VSK
Match 4: Club Cam (Aaron Rourke, Bryce Donovan & Bobby Orlando w/ Cam Zagami) vs “The Afropunk” Trish Adora & Kings of the District (Jordan Blade & Eel O’Neal)
KOD is soooooo energized to be here! The crowd is fire for this one. Orlando wears a Burger King crown and Eel is quick to dethrone him. Blade in to beat on Donovan. Adora in and gives Rourke a taste of her boot. Bobby Jr is thrown in at Adora but she knocks him back to the outside. Eel with a somersault to all of Club Cam. Cam tries to interject himself but Blade chokes him out on the apron. Donovan ambushes Blade and hits a dropkick in the tree of woe. Club Cam working Jordan over, keeping the ref occupied and Eel and Adora away from the tag. Trish finally is ready to tag a flying Blade. Cross body to Bobby. German to Bryce. Big sidewalk slam for two! Rourke cuts it off but Adora is ready to tag. Eel hit with a suplex flapjack. Blade tossing everyone around before they lock Club Cam into a triple submission. Cam comes out with Adora’s bag from The back and tries to throw her personal goods around. Adora out to stop him but the rest gang up on KOD and Eel gets pinned in the fray. This version of Club Cam seems more effective than the last iteration. Adora and KOD are great together…..but….
Winners: Club Cam
…Eel is mad at Adora for leaving him to take the L “over a bag”. Blade has to intervene and calms him down to go to the back.
OH MAN IVE BEEN WAITING TO TYPE THIS…It’s time for the Discovery Gauntlet! You gotta win it to stay in it! This season we’re doing Tag Teams!
Match 5: 9 to 5 (Louis Lyndon & Jack Verville) vs The Mane Event (Jay Lyon & Midas Black)
9 to 5’s entrance music is an alarm clock sound….and that’s it. It’s very Right to Censor and I hate them. They cut a promo about having to get jobs to support themselves and hating the crowd for giving the wrestlers in the back hope that they can live on wrestling. Jesus. Mane Event swarming them at the bell. Lyon hits a leapfrog hangman’s splash on Lyndon. Lyon with a somersault through a Lion ring to 9 to 5! Lyndon almost hits his partner but Midas uppercutting the heck out of him. Lyndon with the trip and Jack tags in. Midas sent out and 9ton5 chokes them with their ties. Not a DQ? Wheelbarrow double kick to the face of Black for two. Jack taunts the Lyon but 9 to 5 just abuses the distraction more. Lyon tags in and hits a spinning uranage/legdrop combo. Lyndon killed with double kicks and Jack has to save. Lyon pops up Lyndon but Midas gets DDT’d. Lyon left alone and gets dropkicked from both sides. Dropkick German combo and Lyon kicks out! Jack choking Midas on the floor with the tie again. Lyon with an enziguri! Lyndon traps Lyon in a shoulder lock but Midas makes the save! 9 to 5 have a miscommunication and Mane Event hits a pop up X factor for the pin! Thank god! I loved the energy here even if I haaaaaated 9to5’s entrance.

We get the post match interview with Mane Event, who is VERY over with this crowd. They say how proud they are to debut in Beyond and they offer their own challenge for their future Discovery Gauntlet opponents…”Come one, come all!”

Time for these two big boys to slap some meat. They get to trading, Dickinson wins the first exchange and puts a bow on it with a kick to the head. They battle to the floor and Manders clubbing Dickinson around the ringside area. Dickinson manages to set up Manders in a chair but gets blasted with a big cowboy lariat. Manders wearing down the neck back in the ring. Dickinson fights back up and trading loud slaps. Manders with a scoop slam but misses the elbow from the second. Dirty Daddy with the corner clothesline and double underhook toss. Crossface! Manders fights to the rope! Manders wants to trade but Dickinson is landing hard kicks to the tree trunks. Manders catches a clothesline into a stampede! Kick out! Trading shots! they trade lariat attempts but they are are too manly. Dickinson lands a big lariat that cuts down Manders. The DVD and STF finish the job. Good fight here!

Dickinson puts over Manders. He tries to say more but Alec Price is out to tel him to shut up. Alex says since he beat Dickinson at the Beach. He says he’s gonna destroy Josh Alexander next week. But he admits you don’t go it alone in a hit, and introduces Becca. Becca ambushes Dickinson and low blows him. Price sets him up for a Becca 450. Becca refuses to explain her actions and simply says “you’re welcome”. They are the Prize City Hooligans and they are here to save us from the repetitiveness of Beyond wrestling. Holy hell, I’m here for this.
Denver Colorado is here to talk about his plans for the future. He cares about wrestling and New England. It’s time to talk about THE WRESTIVAL! It’s a 3-day wrestling extravaganza featuring shows from…WWR+! H2O! Limitless! And MORE! Tickets going up on IWTV soon!

Alex slaps a headlock and drags Garcia down. Shoulder blocks take down Red Death but Garcia is back with quick pin attempts and a dropkick to the head. Shelley with a crossbody and slam, Garcia is smarting from the landing. Garcia tries a thez press but Shelley catches him in a cradle stretch.
