Impact Wrestling opened with a look at everything that brought up to this point.
Finjuice & Chris Sabin vs. Chris Bey & El Phantasmo & Hikuleo.
Sabin and Bey started out with some nice back and forth reversals and near falls before a stalemate and face off. Impact Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers were watching on a monitor. Juice Robinson and El Phantasmo tagged in. Juice controlled him. FinJuice worked over Phantasmo's arm, nailing a series of axe handles off the ropes. Bullet Club gained control on Robinson. Hikuelo tagged in and raked Robinson's back. Juice escaped a suplex attempt and tagged out to Finlay.
Finlay attacked but was wiped out with a big clothesline. Sabin tagged in and used some dazzling maneuvers to take out Bullet Blub. He and FinJuice naield a triple dive to the outside of the ring. Sabin almost scored a two count with a backslide. Bey used the Art of Finesse for the win after Phantasmo hit Sabin with a low blow as Hikuleo distracted the referee.

Gia Miller interviewed Josh Alexander. He said that normally tagging with Christian Cage would be an honor but there's an issue. They are facing off at Bound for Glory. He's been studying Christian. Tonight, he is going to take out Ace Austin and Madman Fulton and Cage will see who he is dealing with at the PPV.
Heath Miller came to the ring. The crowd chanted "Welcome back" and he thanked them. He said everyone has had a bad last year. He got hurt at Bound for Glory. He said thankfully he had his wife and kids to be "doctors for daddy." What makes him sad is that he lost his best friend, Rhino. He went off the radar after a year. He tried to get to Rhino but he's not putting the blame on Rhino. Violence by Design has brainwashed him and abused him over the last year and that's really pissed Heath off. He's out here today to call out Rhino and asked him to come out and talk. The crowd chanted for Rhino.
Violent by Design came out to the ring, but no Rhino. Eric Young said he's gotten rid of the Rhino Heath used to know. He's now better and more pure. Rhino belongs to him. The Rhino Heath knew is dead and gone forever. He told Heath to leave his ring and never, ever come back. Heath refused to leave. Young said you are going to force their hands. Heath asked who was going to try and him and threw down. He was quickly overwhelmed by the numbers game. They beat Heath and left him laying. No Rhino.
Willie Mack was interviewed. He's going to compete in the X-Division against Rohit Raju and El Phantasmo next week. Brian Myers' lackeys confronted him and mocked him for losing to Myers. Rich Swann said since they think they are better, they can have a tag match tonight. Myers wanted nothing to do with this.
Kimber Lee & Brandi Lauren & Lady Frost vs. Savannah Evans & Tasha Steelz & Mercedes Martinez
Frost and Martinez started out. Lauren and Evans tagged in. Lauren bit her arm but was drilled with a big right hand and a big boot to the face. Evans was in control as they went to commercial and when they returned, Steelz was drilling Lauren with a kick to the face. Team Steelz worked over Lauren for a long time. Steelz didnt want to tag out to Martinez, allowing Kimber Lee to attack and run roughshod over her. Lee went for a Mandible Claw but Evans booted her in the face. Lauren jumped on Evans' back. Steelz stole the pin with a hook of the tights on Lee.
Martinez and Steelz had words after. Evans backsed Steelz.
Alesha Edwards attacked Lauren and Lee after with a Singapore Cane.
Backstage, Edwards cut a promo saying she wasn't going to get away with what they tried to do to Swingerella #3. I love that she's so upset about what happened to a character with no name. Gail Kim showed up to calm her and Edwards demanded she get Kim in the ring. Kim agreed but it will be in a Monster's Ball match at the PPV Saturday night. Jordynne Grace, Kimber Lee and Savannah Evans will also compete in honor of Daffney.
The Influence did The All About Me show. Decay were the guests. Dashwood lost it and was censored. Their question was tether the challengers felt lucky going into the PPV. Dashwood tried to close the show. Decay said they are now the hosts and they won't be closing the show, it was theirs. They implied they were going to possess The Influence's souls and they ran off.
W. Morrisey and Moose announced they would be entered the Call Your Shot Gauntlet.
X-Division Tournament: Black Taurus vs. Petey Williams vs. Maclin
Williams and Taurus had some fun exchanges. Williams nailed a rana off the top and a dropkick to the back. Taurus and Williams nailed Maclin on the floor. Maclin was tossed back in. Taurus tried to powerbomb Williams off the apron but was hit with a legdrop.
Maclin took control and worked over each of them in the ring. Taurus went for a high crossbody but was caught and transitioned into a suplex. Williams nailed a series of right hands but was nailed with a backbreaker. Taurus nailed a stunner and drilled Maclin with a big forearm in the corner. Taurus scored several two counts. Williams nailed a running knee on Maclin and called for the Canadian Destroyer. Maclin rocked him with a forearm and nailed another, then drilled Taurus with a big knee. Williams turned a move into a DDT but everyone was too spent to capitalize.
Everyone battled back and forth. Williams nailed a Codebreaker and went for a Destroyer but Taurus escaped and nailed a springboard kick. Taurus charged Maclin but missed and was sent to the floor. Maclin speared Williams but Taurus speared Maclin. Williams nailed the Destroyer on Taurus but Maclin attacked and drive him into the mat for the pin.

Gia Miller interviewed Impact Wrestling Champion Christian Cage. He said Josh will have the best seat in the house to learn he's not in the realm of Christian Cage leading into the PPV. Christopher Daniels showed up and said he wanted a title match against Cage. He's here to right his wrongs from the past and get the belt he's never held. He didn't care where it took place, AEW or Impact, and he'll let Cage think about it.
We went to a despondent Swinger packing up Swinger's Palace. Fallah Bahh said they got what they deserved. They had some funny shots at Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter during this.
Rich Swann & Willie Mack vs. Manny Lemons & Zicky Dice
Team Myers attacked Swann and Mack. They took control back on Lemons and tagged in and out, working him over. Dice got involved and everyone brawled. Swann nailed several superkicks. Swann and Mack doubleteamed Lemons. They nailed an elevated neckbreaker for the pin.

The rest of Brian Myers' learning tree attacked and put the boots to Swann and Mack, leaving them laid out.
Scott D'Amore and Gail Kim were in a meeting with Deonna Purrazzo when Mickie James tried to attack her. They announced they will have a no contact clause until 10/23. If they touch each other, Mickie loses her shot and Deonna will be stripped. They then announced Gail will pick Deonna's opponent this Saturday.
They ran down the Knockouts Knockout PPV.
Impact Wrestling Champion Christian Cage & Josh Alexander vs. Ace Austin & Madman Fulton.
Cage and Madman started early. Austin and Alexander tagged in. Alexander nailed a big backdrop on Austin. Alexander nailed a delayed vertical suplex. Alexander and Austin battled back and forth with forearms. Fulton drilled Alexander in the back as he was rebounding off the ropes, allowing Austin to rock Alexander.
Alexander was able to make the tag but soon Cage was being worked over by Fulton and Austin.
Cage was whipped hard into buckles. Fulton worked him over and prevented him from making a tag several times. Christian speared Austin but Alexander had been taken out and wasn't in position to make a tag.
Alexander finally made the hot tag and fired away on Fulton, including a big right hand in the corner. He lifted up Fulton and slammed him for a two count. Austin and Fulton trapped him in the corner and nailed several double team maneuvers. They went to finish him off but Cage made the save. Fulton was shoved into the ring post.
Alexander locked Austin in an anklelock. Austin escaped and came off the top but ankle was hurt. Alexander nailed the Chaos Theory. Cage, who had blind tagged in, nailed the Killswitch and scored the pin.

Alexander wasn't happy about Cage taking the pinfall he earned.
