I tuned into AEW expecting to see Bray Wyatt and he wasn't there. Any idea why? I know you reported he was going to be there.
Actually, I did not report anything about Wyatt being at the AEW taping and neither did anyone else from the site. He couldn't legally appear since his 90 day non-compete with WWE has not yet expired. I have no idea if or whether there was a story making the rounds that he would appear on last night's AEW, but if there was, it was false, there was zero truth to it and if you were let down, it's because of whoever lied and made that up.
I was flipping through channels and I came across a TV show that was all old wrestling footage. I have no idea what this was - any ideas?
I am guessing you saw Classic All-Star Wrestling which is produced by Jerry Jarrett and pops up on several different outlets using footage from Memphis, Michigan and elsewhere. It has popped up on NESN, YouToo America and ELEVEN, so I would check local listings if you are interested in tracking it down again.
The logline for the series notes, "The greatest wrestling stars from the 1960s through the 1990s are back with classic highlights from Hulk Hogan, Nature Boy Ric Flair, Andre the Giant, and more. Features pro wrestling aficionados and specia guest legends."
I am watching AEW and I can't believe the lines they are letting MJF cross. He literally wished death on Darby Allin and said that the wrong person died in a DUI, like seriously WTF is wrong with him and AEW for allowing this to happen?
I grew up in an era where the heels were absolutely dastardly and said all sorts of things to get heat to piss off the audience and give the babyfaces a reason to want to kick their ass. Currently, MJF is really the only person in wrestling who truly sets out to get that sort of heat. If it pissed you off, he did exactly what he set out to do. Why did AEW allow it? To draw money.
Is it safe to say that Ric Flair launch isn't going to happen at the New York Comic deal?

How can Bobby Fish be in AEW? He was just released by WWE?
Fish had a 30 day non-compete since he was part of the NXT brand. That has expired.
