MATT CARDONA VS. RAJ SINGH & MORE: BTI - BEFORE THE IMPACT ON AXS TV REPORT

This week's edition of BTI - Before the Impact opened with Jon Burton, Gia Miller and Josh Mathews welcoming everyone to the AXS TV broadcast.  

They went right into a hard push for Bound for Glory on 10/23 and then into highlights of Josh Alexander vs. Ace Austin on last week's Impact on AXS main event, setting the stage for the return of Christopher Daniels to the promotion for the first time in years.

They ran down the Impact lineup for tonight, noting Moose is banned from tonight's W. Morrisey vs. Eddie Edwards Street Fight.

They recapped last week verbal and physical fight between Mickie James and Deonna Purrazzo.

They recapped the FinJuice vs. Bullet Club feud.

They ran down the top five social media moments of the week.  Chris Daniels' return topped it.

This week's Iceman Intel with George Iceman discussing the return of Chris Daniels.  He announced Gia Miller would interview Daniels tonight.

Raj Singh with Rohit Raju vs. Matt Cardona with Chelsea Green

They locked up and reversed a series of waistlocks.  Cardona grabbed a side headlock but was sent into the ropes.  He shoulderblocked Singh down and nailed a series of armdrags before cinching in an armbar.  Cardona and Singh battled to the floor, where Cardona nailed a swinging neckbreaker on the floor.  He nailed a Side Russian Legsweep into the barricade and brought Singh back into the ring.  He was going to come off the ropes but Rohit Raju distracted him, allowing Singh to knock Cardona off then ropes.

Singh began stomping away at him and nailed a back senton splash for a two count.  Cardona was dumped to the floor, where Chelsea Green kept Raju from interfering.  Singh drilled Cardona into the ring apron but was hit with a jawbreaker.  Cardona went to grab him but was nailed with a DVDR across the knee, cutting off his momentum.  Singh went back to the mat, sinking in a rear chinlock variation.  Singh went to the ropes but missed a back senton splash.  Cardona was rallied by the crowd and nailed a series of clotheslines to build momentum. 

Singh reversed a whip but was grabbed and drilled into the mat, face-first.  Cardona nailed a clothesline in the corner, then nailed a missile dropkick off the ropes for a two count.  Singh cut off Cardona and nailed an inverted suplex for a two count.  Rohit tried to get involved but Green nailed him with a superkick.  Cardona was caught with a running boot but escaped a chinlock.  He kicked off a Singh charge and nailed Radio Silence for the pin.

Our hosts closed out the show discussing what they were looking forward to on Impact.  For Gia, it was The Influence vs. Rachael and Jordynne.  Mathews was interested in the Street Fight and the return of Chris Daniels.
