MLW FUSION ALPHA REPORT: LAWLOR VERSUS HAMMERSTONE, FATU VS HAMMERSTONE NEXT THURSDAY

We are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and your announcers are Rich Bocchini and Jared St. Laurent.

Contra interrupts the feed and Mads Krugger says that Hammerstone has been ranked number one for two years and you have defeated all comers. It is my mission to end you before Fight Land. That mission begins tonight.

Match Number One: Arez versus Aramis

Arez hangs in the corner and runs in place as Aramis offers his hand and Arez swats it away. They lock up and Aramis with a side head lock. Arez with a wrist lock and Aramis with a waist lock. Aramis with a full nelson and Arez with a reversal. Arez with a full nelson on the mat. Aramis with a reversal using the ropes. Aramis returns to the full nelson. Arez goes through the ropes and rolls up Aramis and then he gets a rollup for a near fall. Arez with a matrix and Aramis pulls Arez to the mat and applies a reverse chin lock. Arez goes for a head scissors and turns into a leg sweep.

Arez with a leg sweep into a wheelbarrow but Aramis with a sunset flip for a near fall. Arez tries to escape but Aramis with a rollup for a near fall. Aramis with a head scissors on Arez. Arez escapes and Arez with an arm drag but Aramis with a rollup for a near fall. Arez with a rollup for a near fall and then he gets anotehr near fall. Aramis with an arm drag and then Arez with an arm drag. Both men go for an arm drag and they neutralize each other.

Arez with a take down and then he flips away from Aramis. They go to the apron and Aramis with a kick but Arez with a kick to Aramis. Arez rolls into the ring and Aramis with an arm drag. Arez goes to the floor and Aramis with a baseball slide but he misses. Arez with a moonsault from the ring post and both men are down.

We go to commercial.

We are back and both men are still down on the floor. Arez with a chop and he sends Aramis back into the ring. Arez gets a Jericho cover for a near fall. Arez with kicks to Aramis followed by forearms. Aramis with an enzuigiri and Arez with a knee to the midsection. Aramis with a spin kick but Arez with an enzuigiri. Aramis with a Pele Kick. Aramis with a snap mare and kick to the back. Both men with clotheslines followed by forearms and round kicks at the same time. Arez with a buckle bomb and Aramis falls to the floor.

Arez goes to the floor and he sends Aramis back into the ring. Arez gets a near fall. Aramis with an Irish whip and Arez moves but Aramis flips out of the corner. Aramis with a bicycle kick followed by a German suplex and a suicide dive to Arez on the floor. They return to the ring and Aramis goes up top but Arez goes to the floor and Aramis walks the ropes and hits a springboard senton onto Arez.

Aramis sends Arez back into the ring and Aramis goes up top for a springboard 450 splash but he can only get a two count. Arez kicks Aramis in the corner and then hits a kick to the back of the head. Arez catches Aramis and he hits a knee and a back heel kick and a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Aramis with a back heel kick and leg sweep followed by a series of kicks. Aramis with a cross body Spanish Fly for a near fall. Aramis with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Aramis kicks Arez in the chest. Arez blocks a kick and he hits a package power bomb for a near fall followed by a double knee back breaker for a near fall.

Arez goes up top and misses a shooting star press. Aramis with a Super Spinny Three Seconds Around the World for the three count.

Winner: Aramis

After the match, Aramis offers his hand to Arez and Arez shakes it and they hug before they raise each other’s arm.

We take a look back at what Alex Kane did in Battle Riot.

It is time to look at Jacob Fatu. He says he liked to break a man’s neck and watch him bleed to death. Hammerstone, you are going to be another body added to the body count. He says this is Contra Unit’s kingdom.

Cesar Duran says they cannot let down the renegades and he says that is the right decision.

Matt Cross says he wants an answer. Duran tells Court that he will have call him back because Matt Cross is interrupting a phone call with the owner of the company. Cesar says he wants to know if Matt wants recognition for beating someone who held the MLW Championship. Matt says he deserves a title match. Cross tells Duran he like ambition but not interruptions. He says that Cross will have a title match next week against Jacob Fatu.

Duran walks away to talk to Court Bauer. He tells Court not to thank God, but to thank him.

Match Number Two: Alex Kane (with King Mo) versus Budd Heavy

Kane splashes Heavy as the bell rings. Kane with a clothesline and kicks to Heavy. Kane with more kicks followed by a chop. Kane with another chop. Kane with one more chop and Heavy goes down. Kane with a hard Irish whip to Heavy. Kane signals for a suplex and hits it but he pulls Heavy up on the cover. Kane with more forearms.

Kane with a snap mare and kick to the back. Kane with another kick to the back. Heavy with punches and chops but Kane with a forearm to stop Heavy. Kane with an exploder. Kane with a clothesline into the corner followed by a running back elbow and a running forearm. Kane with a rip cord Olympic Slam and a Jericho cover for the three count.

Winner: Alex Kane

After the match, Heavy flips off Kane and tells him ‘f*** you’. Kane returns to the ring and he kicks Heavy and then hits an Exploder and a German suplex. Kane with an Olympic Slam.

We go to Alicia Atout with EJ Nduka.

Alicia brings up EJ’s performance at Battle Riot. EJ says it felt good to show everybody that he is who he said he was. The Judge is built for this. EJ says he plans to show up and show out.

We go to the Fight Land Control Center.

We will see Alexander Hammerstone versus Jacob Fatu with a title versus title match. Myron Reed will face Aaramis, Arez, and Tajiri in a Four Way Match for the Middleweight Championship.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are told that Alex Kane will have the first alternate position in the Opera Cup in case someone is unable to compete.

Match Number Three: Alexander Hammerstone versus Tom Lawlor for the MLW National Openweight Championship

Lawlor goes for the leg and he takes Hammerstone to the mat and he tries for a single leg crab but Hammerstone escapes. They lock up and Lawlor with a wrist lock and a drop toe hold but Hammerstone with a wrist lock. Lawlor gets to the ropes and Hammerstone breaks the hold. Lawlor with a kick to the leg and then he kicks Hammerstone in the leg some more. Hammerstone with a waist lock and Lawlor gets to the turnbuckles. Lawlor with a side head lock and Hammerstone with a reversal and shoulder tackle.

They lock up and Lawlor with a side head lock. Lawlor with a shoulder tackle and Hammerstone hits the ropes and connects with a shoulder tackle that sends Lawlor to the floor to regroup. Lawlor tries to pull Hammerstone to the floor but that does not work. Lawlor drops the arm on the top rope and then Hammerstone is able to send Lawlor to the floor even though that was Lawlor’s concept. Hammerstone with forearms and Lawlor with chops but Hammerstone hot shots Lawlor on the apron.

Hammerstone sends Lawlor back into the ring and Lawlor gets to the ropes. Lawlor with a rake of the eyes and a bulldog and divorce court combination. Hammerstone goes to the floor and Lawlor kicks Hammerstone in the arm. Lawlor with a chop and they go back into the ring.

Lawlor with more chops and then Lawlor wraps the arm in the ropes and he chops Hammerstone in the corner. Lawlor chokes Hammerstone but Hammerstone powers up and forces Lawlor over the top rope to the floor. Lawlor sends Hammerstone’s arm into the apron again. They return to the ring and Lawlor with a kick to the shoulder. Hammerstone with a forearm and Lawlor fires back. They continue the exchange and Lawlor adds uppercuts to the injured arm. Lawlor goes for a cross arm breaker but Hammerstone blocks it for a moment but Lawlor is able to apply the submission but Hammerstone gets to the ropes. Hammerstone with chops and Lawlor with forearms. They go back and forth. Hammerstone with a knee but Lawlor with a kick to the leg and back. Hammerstone blocks a kick to the chest but Lawlor counters into a guillotine. Lawlor with a cross face. Hammerstone gets to the ropes to force a break. Lawlor with an arm wringer but Hammerstone with a uranage.

Hammerstone with a punch and forearm followed by chps. Hammerstone runs through two clotheslines and hits a clothesline of his own. Hammerstone runs into a boot but Hammerstone with a clothesline and overhead belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Hammerstone signals that it is over. Lawlor blocks the Nightmare Pendulum and Lawlor with a kick to the arm. Lawlor signals for some help from the back and Hammerstone wants to know what Lawlor is doing. Hammerstone with a German suplex and a power bomb. Hammerstone gets a near fall. Hammerstone gets Lawlor up and hits the Nightmare Pendulum for the three count.

Winner: Alexander Hammerstone (retains championship)

After the match, Alicia Atout waits for Alexander Hammerstone but he is ambushed by Contra Unit.
