MURDOCH TEAMS WITH THE POPE, JAMES STORM, CORINO, HAWX & MORE: NWA POWERRR ON FITE.TV REPORT

 

Things are a little different in the booth as we kick things off. Kyle Davis has joined Joe Galli and Velvet Sky on commentary to kick things off. Kyle is here as Tim Storm is at the podium with Chris Adonis, Thom Lattimer and Kamille.  Lattimer declares Trevor Murdoch a thorn in their side.  Strictly Business should all have championships but mistakes happen. Lattimer tells Storm to shut up. Lattimer wants Storm in the ring.  Storm charges the ring and takes his tie off.  Joe Galli tries to hold off Strictly Business but here comes Nick Aldis.  He doesn't want this to happen.  It's an old fashioned standoff.  Strictly Business walks off as Storm looks confused.

May Valentine is with Melina.  She is not happy about Kamille's attack 2 weeks ago.  Melina says Kamille does NOT carry herself like a champion.  The Hot Mess, Chelsea Green, approaches the booth and wants to know what Melina ever did for the wrestling business. Green rants and raves as Galli and Sky talk about what just happened with Tim Storm.

NWA Tag Team Title Eliminator Quarter Final: Colby Corino and JTG vs. Luke & PJ Hawx

Luke and JTG start off, code of honor adhered to.  Luke with a rollup for 2.  Lockup, no one gets the edge.  Lockup, again we have a stalemate.  JTG with kicks and a headlock takedown.  Front face lock by Luke but JTG with another headlock. JTG with a rollup for 2.  Lockup, Luke with a standing switch and a cravate takedown, they exchange rollup pin attempts.  PJ tags in but JTG with a quick front facelock. Corino tags in and nails an enziguiri and an elbow drop for 2.  Shoulder tackles by Corino into a cannonball for 2.  Arm twist by Corino but a belly to belly by PJ allows him to make a tag.  Shoulder breaker and powerslam for 2 by Luke Hawx. Stun Gun by Corino he nails a leg drop over the middle rope for 2.  He pounds Luke in the corner, PJ tries to help.  JTG tags in and scores a 2 count.  Side headlock by JTG, Luke eats a scoop slam for 2.  Luke elbows out and they both connect on a clothesline and go down.  Both tag.  PJ and Corino slug it out.  JTG beaks up a pin and gets thrown out.  Luke and PJ nail a flapjack powerslam combo on Corino and score the pin.

WINNERS: PJ and Luke Hawx

Cyon the Mystery Man has a few choice words for NWA TV Champion Tyrus.  He reminds Tyrus of his past failures, his children and his outside interests.  Kyle Davis is with Tyrus, Blk Jeez, Jordan Clearwater and Austin Idol.  They're not happy that Cyon is threatening Tyrus' reign as TV champion.  

Tim Storm has returned to commentary.

Jennacide vs. Allysin Kay (If Jennacide wins, her and her partner, Paola Blaze, receive an NWA Women's tag team title match against Kay and Marti Belle)

They exchange clotheslines at the outset.  Jennicide misses a corner splash but sends Kay into the buckles. Jennacide wrenches the arm and goes for a Fujiwara armbar.  Kay rolls her up for 1.  Jennacide with a forearm smash and knee strikes. Another armbar by Jennacide.  Big suplex by Jennacide for 2.  Elbow smashes by Jennacide into a top wristlock.  Kay fires back and we have a forearm exchange.  stunner and a lariat by Kay for 2.  Sunset flip by Kay for 2. Stunner for 2 by Jennacide.  Jennacide with a chokeslam.  She takes too long going to the top.  Kay with a power bomb.  Suddenly, LAdy Frost shows up and Jennacide uses the distraction to roll up Kay for the pin.

WINNER: Jennacide

James Storm vs Judais w/The Sinister Minister

Storm was drinking beer as he came out.  Lockup, Storm shoves him off.  Lockup, Judais with a big right hand.  Judais fires away in the corner.  Storm is down and Judais stomps him. Storm with punches in the corner, a ten count to be exact.  They brawled in the corner and the referee reached a 5 count. The referee throws it out.

RESULT: No Contest

Storm shoves the referee down and knocks Judais over the top rope.  The Minister holds him back

Crimson and Jeremiah Plunkett vs. The End (Parrow and Odinson) vs. Trevor Murdoch and Da Pope

This is Murdoch's first in ring action since winning the NWA World's Championship.  Murdoch, Parrow and Plunkett kick us off.  Parrow gets thrown from the ring as Plunkett and Murdoch exchange.  Slam by Murdoch he nails a high cross body for 2.  Murdoch tweaked his knee. Pope tags in.  Crimson tags in and nails Plunkett with a dropkick. Plunkett is back and he and Pope exchange but Pope gets the better of it.  Parrow snags Pope and throws him into the rail.  Ground and pound by Parrow to Plunkett. Odinson tags in and a double DVD by The End for 2 on Plunkett.  Odinson misses a charge and Pope nails the Elijah Express on Plunkett for the pin.

Winners: Pope and Trevor Murdoch

Jax Dane runs out and demands his title shot now (earned by winning the Champions Series).  Crimson punches Dane and sends him into the post.  The referee declares Dane unfit to compete.  No match as Jax Dane is helped to the back.

Medics attend to Murdoch's knee as we go to credits
