Elsewhere, New Japan has announced four new matches for its STRONG television tapings on October 16 and 17 in the legendary 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
On the first night, Ariya Daivari will make his debut against Alex Zayne while Clark Connors and Ren Narita will face TJP and Will Ospreay.
On the second night, Daivari will wrestle his second match teaming with Lio Rush against Chris Bey and El Phantasmo while Fred Yehi and Wheeler Yuta will face Hikuleo and Jay White.
New Japan has confirmed Jake Atlas will not compete at the show following his retirement from professional wrestling.

Before the show, GLEAT held a press conference to announce Hayato Tamura has joined the company. Tamura has been signed to an exclusive contract with LIDET Entertainment (GLEAT’s parent company) since June 10.
Jun Masaoka made an appearance during the show to announce he will return at GLEAT’s show on October 16 in Yokohama Radiant Hall. He is currently out of action due to fractured ribs.
Nobuhiro Shimatani also appeared at the show, seemingly becoming the newest member of Ryuichi Kawakami’s stable. He joins Tamura in the group.

Jack, 16, and Estrella, 15, recently joined recently joined DDT Pro-Wrestling’s new DDT Teenage Project promotion.
