New Japan Pro Wrestling held its sixth G1 Climax 31 show today in Korakuen Hall.

The full results were:

Elsewhere, New Japan has announced four new matches for its STRONG television tapings on October 16 and 17 in the legendary 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

On the first night, Ariya Daivari will make his debut against Alex Zayne while Clark Connors and Ren Narita will face TJP and Will Ospreay.

On the second night, Daivari will wrestle his second match teaming with Lio Rush against Chris Bey and El Phantasmo while Fred Yehi and Wheeler Yuta will face Hikuleo and Jay White.

New Japan has confirmed Jake Atlas will not compete at the show following his retirement from professional wrestling.

New Japan will hold its seventh G1 Climax 31 show tomorrow in Korakuen Hall. The full card is:

Before the show, GLEAT held a press conference to announce Hayato Tamura has joined the company. Tamura has been signed to an exclusive contract with LIDET Entertainment (GLEAT’s parent company) since June 10.

Jun Masaoka made an appearance during the show to announce he will return at GLEAT’s show on October 16 in Yokohama Radiant Hall. He is currently out of action due to fractured ribs.

Nobuhiro Shimatani also appeared at the show, seemingly becoming the newest member of Ryuichi Kawakami’s stable. He joins Tamura in the group.

DDT Pro-Wrestling has announced the partial schedule for its D-Oh Grand Prix tournament.

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS has announced Brahman Kei, Brahman Shu and Rekka will face Vent Vert Jack, Vent Vert Negro and Yousei Estrella at its show on October 3 in Korakuen Hall.

Jack, 16, and Estrella, 15, recently joined recently joined DDT Pro-Wrestling’s new DDT Teenage Project promotion.
