FORMER ROH CHAMPION'S DEAL IS UP IN JANUARY

By Oliver Taylor on 2021-09-28 14:13:00

Ring of Honor superstar RUSH has revealed his contract with ROH expires in January and he is open to listening to all offers.

Speaking in an interview with Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso, RUSH confirmed the expiration date of his current contract and stated no talks have taken place to renew his deal.

RUSH said: “My contract expires in January. So far, we have not talked about a contract renewal. I am very grateful to ROH. I am also a man of challenges and goals, and I’m open to listening to everyone.”

RUSH recently underwent knee surgery, which is expected to keep him out of action for the rest of 2021.

RUSH suffered the injury at the second night of Ring of Honor’s two-day Glory By Honor show on August 21 in the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He teamed with his brother Dragon Lee to defeat Bandido and Rey Horus.

Earlier this year, RUSH lost the ROH World Championship to Bandido at ROH’s Best in the World show on July 11. It was the end of RUSH’s second reign of the title, and he is one of only five men to hold the title on multiple occasions.
