DDT REVEALS FIRST MATCHES IN D-OH GRAND PRIX, NJPW BEST OF SUPER JUNIORS & WORLD TAG LEAUGES SET AND MORE FROM JAPAN

DDT Pro-Wrestling has announced the first four matches of its D-Oh Grand Prix tournament at its show on November 3 in Ota Ward Gymnasium.

The updated card for the show is:

• KO-D 6-man Tag Team Championships: Danshoku Dieno, Yuki Iino and Yumehito Inamari vs. Sanshiro Takagi, Yusuke Okada and ‘X’
• Chihiro Hashimoto and Yukio Naya vs. Masahiro Takahashi and Saki Akai
• D-Oh Grand Prix B block: HARASHIMA vs. Kazusada Higuchi
• D-Oh Grand Prix B block: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Yuji Okabayashi
• D-Oh Grand Prix A block: Tetsuya Endo vs. Yuji Hino
• D-Oh Grand Prix A block: Jun Akiyama vs. Yuki Ueno

DDT has also announced the full card for its shows on October 3 in Yamagata and October 10 in Nagano. The full cards are:

Big Japan Pro Wrestling

Big Japan Pro Wrestling has announced Takuya Nomura will attempt his first defense of the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship against Daisuke Sekimoto at its show on October 18 in Korakuen Hall.

Yuko Miyamoto will attempt his second defense of the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship against Hideyoshi Kamitani at the same show.

Pro Wrestling ZERO1

Pro Wrestling ZERO1 has announced Yumeto Imanari and Yuna Manase will compete in its Furinkazan tag team tournament.

Shinjiro Otani, who recently underwent surgery on his left arm, endorsed Manase as Imanari’s partner.

The full field is:

• Gajo and Tomohiko Hashimoto
• Hartley Jackson and Junya Matsunaga
• Hide Kubota and Takuya Sugawara
• Koji Doi and Tsugutaka Sato

The first round will take place at ZERO1’s show on October 1 in Shin-Kiba 1st Ring and the semifinals and final will take place at ZERO1’s show on November 12 in Shin-Kiba 1st Ring.

British promotion Revolution Pro Wrestling announced last night that All Japan Pro Wrestling’s Francesco Akira will debut at its show on October 3 in London. He will face Robbie X.
