UNITED WRESTLING NETWORK TO FINALLY CROWN FIRST CHAMPION NEXT SATURDAY ON PRIMETIME LIVE RETURN PPV

By Mike Johnson on 2021-09-24 16:07:00

The United Wrestling Network's Prime Time Live will return with a two hour live PPV broadcast on Saturday 10/2 on Fite.TV at 9:30 PM EST and will finally, finally, finally crown their first-ever champion when Chris Dickinson faces Mike Bennett.

Primetime Live ran as a weekly PPV series from September through December 2020 from Thunder Studios in California because COVID-19 concerns led to a pause on all production.  The series featured a tournament to crown the first-ever UWN Champion, with Chris Dickinson and Mike Bennett going to the finals.  The match was finally slated to take place at the debut Championship Wrestling from Atlanta taping, but the remnants of Hurricane Ida devastating the Northeast prevented Dickinson from making the taping.  Now, with the constellations hopefully aligned, the match will finally take place.

The Commerce, CA taping at the Commerce Casino will be part of a Championship Wrestling from Hollywood TV taping.  After two episodes of CWH are taped, they will go live on FITE.

Also announced for the taping:

*David Finlay vs. Will Alday.

*Gino Rivera vs Juicy Finau.

*Midnight Heat vs "Pretty" Peter Avalon & Ray Rosas aka "PPRay"

*Clark Connor, Karl Fredricks & Alex Coughlin vs Kevin Martinson, Rust Taylor & Daniel Garcia

*Ruby Raze vs Viva Van.

*Blake Troop makes his pro wrestling debut.

The PPV can be ordered at this link.
