DREW MCINTYRE COMES HOME: 9/22 WWE IN GLASGOW, SCOTLAND REPORT

9/22 WWE in Glasgow, Scotland Report

-As I entered the event I felt a certain level of pride seeing so many of my fellow Scots wearing their masks and keeping safe... but that all dissipated as they got seated in the venue. I would estimate there was less than 5% of the audience wearing their masks by the time the show started. Very disappointing. 

-There were a lot of kids at tonight's event.

*Street Profits beat Alpha Academy via a frog splash.  The street profits can really work a crowd, they were over big time!

*Kevin Owen's beat Happy Corbin via stunner.

*King Nakamura beat Apollo Crews via Kinshasa.  Rick Boogz was present at ringside playing guitar, no Commander for Apollo.

*Smackdown Women's Champion Becky Lynch beat Bianca Belair via a backslide.  Becky over, boos for Bianca.  Becky walks out to boos.  Comes back. Still gets cheered!

- Intermission 

*The Mysterios vs. Bobby Roode & Dolpg Ziggler.   Seth Rollins interfered causing a DQ, Finn Balor made the save, setting the stage for...

*Seth & Dirty Dawgs vs. Mysterios and Balor.  The finish was Triple dives from the babyfaces.  Finn gets the pin.

*Glasgow Street Fight: Drew McIntyre beats Jinder Mahal via a power bomb through table and a Claymore Kick.

The Babyfaces join after-show with Drew.  Drew proposes a beer bash Scottish style, The crowd chanted Bucky (a popular Scottish tonic wine) but what Drew meant was just some Irn Bru. (A popular Scottish soft drink, which used to be awesome but they halved the sugar content and is no longer any good.. my opinion!)  Happy Corbin interrupts this celebration and gets beat up to send the crowd home happy.
