TONS OF AEW NEWS LEADING INTO TONIGHT'S HISTORY MAKING DYNAMITE GRAND SLAM IN NYC

By Mike Johnson on 2021-09-22 11:35:00

AEW will easily have broken their all time attendance (and I would assume possibly even their all-time gate, as one would think tonight's event will be in the seven figure range) with tonight's AEW Dynamite Grand Slam event in Queens, NY.

After Dynamite goes off the air, AEW will tape this Friday's Rampage.  There should be some Dark content (no idea how much) taped as well before 8 PM EST.

AEW has been all over the NYC media today in a way no one other than WWE has ever achieved locally.

Tonight's show will be the biggest non-WWE attendance for a wrestling event going back decades and due to the larger size of Arthur Ashe Stadium, will easily outdraw any WWE event in New York City in many, many years.

There will be multiple screens hanging above the ring for fans in the upper decks to watch.

Doors will open for the event at 5:30 PM EST.

AEW is requesting fans take public transportation and arrive early to insure they can get through in a timely fashion due to the vaccination requirements.

There will be an official event shirt sold at tonight's event.  Having been at several AEW events over the last month, I can assure you that unless you want to miss a good part of the show, get your merchandise ASAP when you arrive.
