A motion for the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut to give a preliminary approval to the settlement in the multiple lawsuits filed against WWE and its officers in regard to allegedly misleading stockholders in regard to their TV deal with The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was filed on 9/20. The cases had all been paused to the settlement talks but were officially re-opened on 9/18 in order to open the doors for the settlement to go through. Unless something unforseen happens, it would appear that happens in the coming days.
WWE filed for a trademark on the term "Big Time Becks" on 9/13 for "G & S: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment"
