PWInsider.com has independently confirmed Dave Meltzer's report that Impact Wrestling's Sami Callihan suffered a bad injury during last weekend's TV tapings.
PWInsider.com has confirmed Callihan suffered a broken ankle and also broke both the tibia and fibia bones in his left leg while executing a tope suicida.
Callihan underwent surgery in Nashville and was released from the hospital today.
He is expected to be out of action until mid-2022 at the earliest.
