TOP 5 REAL-LIFE MARRIED COUPLES ON WWE'S ROSTER

By Kendall Jenkins on 2021-09-16 06:54:00

If you love WWE and would like to socialize with fellow fans, signing up to a dating site would be the ideal solution. You could interact with fellow wrestling fans in chat rooms. Or flirt with the other site members via direct messages. Say you came across an eyecatching profile photo when browsing personals for married. You could send them a ‘wink’ or a direct message. You can chat about your shared passion for WWE. Here’s an icebreaker – you could discuss real-life married couples who are on the WWE roster.

The Undertaker and Michelle McCool

Born Mark Calaway in Houston, The Undertaker enjoyed a hugely successful stint as a WWE performer throughout the 90s and Noughties. He gained a huge fanbase as his anti-hero character, relishing the spectator-bating horror persona. This was driven by hints of links to supernatural forces that the huge WWE audience lapped up. This macabre person morphed into a more mainstream but equally popular biker. He married third wife Michelle McCool in 2010, herself a prestigious fighter and two-time WWE Divas Champion. The year they were married she gained the number one spot in Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s female top 50.

Shane McMahon and Marissa Mazzola

Maryland-born Shane McMahon is an excellent example of the spirit and drive running through so many WWE exponents. As well as coming from four generations of a wrestling family, he is the founder of a highly successful electronic vehicle company named Ideanomics. As well as his prowess in the ring, he has performed as a referee, events producer, and announcer. He married film producer and PA agent Marissa in 1996. Their children have been spotted during bouts against The Undertaker.

Steve Austin and Debra Marshall

Surely one of the most influential wrestlers ever, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin enjoyed a lengthy professional wrestling career, establishing a character that was a firm favorite with fans, especially his female admirers. Originally known for his good looks, ripped physique and blond locks, he was part of a tag team known as  ‘The Hollywood Blonds.’ Later, he changed this to a more aggressive image, shaven-headed, and sporting a goatee. This led to a rise in his fanbase, as his beer-guzzling, anti-establishment anti-hero appealed to even more enthusiasts. Although he has since re-married, it is his coupling with fellow performer Debra Marshall that he is particularly remembered for. She entered WWE after studying for a Masters of Science degree, combining her drop-dead gorgeous looks with an astute mind.

Eddie Guerrero and Vickie Guererro

The Guerrero family have been wowing WWE fans for some time, with Texas-born Eddie earning a reputation for being a devious performer who would stop at nothing to win, no matter how underhanded. This mischievous persona appealed to a cross-section of his adoring public, and many achievements inside the ring. Marrying WWE personality Vickie in 1990, herself a villainous member of All Elite Wrestling, Eddie sadly passed in 2005. But the memories of his vivacious performances remain strong amongst the legions of Guerrero fans.

Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon

McMahon is a huge personality on the wrestling scene, chairman and Chief Executive Officer of WWE (the man at the helm of an organization turning over around $1 billion per annum). His is a true rag to riches story. Although he grew up in a North Carolina trailer park, and at one point was working 90 hours a week in a quarry. McMahon had graduated from university with a degree in business and set about transforming the professional wrestling industry. The Royal Rumble match winner married Linda Edwards who joined him in his commercial ventures, becoming known as ‘the co-CEO.’
