COMPLETE AEW DYNAMITE REPORT

By Anthony Pires on 2021-09-15 20:55:00

It's Wednesday Night! And you know what that means!  We are LIVE from Newark, NJ.  Jim Ross,Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and CM Punk are on the call.  I think CM Punk is happy to be here as he dives into the crowd and high 5's the ringside area.

Adam Cole vs. Frankie Kazarian

For a heel, Adam Cole has a LOT of love from Newark.  Cole misses a kick, Kazarian with an armdrag into a headlock takedown.  Shoulder tackle by Kazarian, he scores a takedown and applies another headlock.  Cole flips him to the floor.  Cole follows him out and throws him into the apron.  Cole re enters and bows to the crowd.  Kazarian with a leg drop as Cole attacks in the ropes.  Sunset flip attempt by Kazarian but Cole with a running kick.  Cole with a headlock.  Kazarian elbows and chops out.  Rollup for 2 by Kazarian into a straightjacket.  Cole with kicks to the face.  Cole with a knee to the neck for 2.  Cole fires up the band.  He misses a superkick, Kaz with a German for 2.  Double knees by KAzarian. Cole with a rollup for 2 and a superkick for 2.  Kazarian blocks the Panama Sunrise and hits a springboard legdrop for 2.

Both men are down. They exchange forearms, Kazrian gets edge with a lariat.  Knee strike by Cole for 2.  Cole sets up the Sunrise after a missed KAzarian legdrop.  Running knee by Cole with the exposed knee and Cole scores the pin.

WINNER: Adam Cole

Cole grabs the house mic to address his adoring public.  Who's ready for storytime.  Hope is a dangerous thing, he says.  No one can keep up with the Elite.  Three guys (Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Christian Cage) have really gotten under his skin.  He challenges them to meet him and Young Bucks next week at Grand Slam. I assume that will be accepted.

We see a video package of Butcher and Blade and the Lucha Bros. They meet this Friday on Rampage.

Tony Schiavone is with Sammy Guevara, Sammy Guevara and Fuego's new car.  Fuego will put up his new car for another shot at Miro.

MJF comes out with Wardlow.  JR describes him as a blister on the butt of life and he wants his music cut.  He thinks Newark should have sympathy for him, being that he's in the armpit of NJ.  He makes a Bruce Springsteen remark which I do not appreciate.  He doesn't care about the offensive language he used last week.  He claims to be religious and wants a heavenly conversation with Brian Pillman in Hell.  He addresses "Hell" and tells him his widow created a horrible excuse of a wrestler in Brian Pillman Jr.  Pillman Jr's music hits and he sends Wardlow up the aisle.  Pillman attacks but Wardlow makes it back in time but gets backdropped out of the ring.  It's Pillman vs. MJF next week at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Earlier today, Jim Ross sat down with Pillman Jr.  JR wants MJF's ass whipped next week.  Pillman was humiliated last week.  He says MJF will never be the same after next week.

Cage, Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus accept the challenge for next week but Cage and Perry don't appear to be exactly on the same page.

Dante Martin & Matt Sydal vs. FTR w/Tully Blanchard

Rollup by Sydal for 2.  Dropkick and a flying headscissors, in comes Martin.  Armtwist by Martin, chops by Dax Harwood.  Martin with a right hand and tries a springboard but Cash kicks him out of the way, ruining his trajectory.  Cash with chops on the outside, Martin tries to fire back but gets tossed into the post and thrown back in.  Headbutt by Cash into a snap mare and a rear chinlock.  Martin with punches and jawbreaker, Dax tags in and Martin gets away and makes the tag.  Sydal clears the ring and Sydal and MArtin with a pair of splashes to the floor as we go to commercial.

We're back and it's FTR with a combo Abdominal Stretch outside the referee's view.  MArtin with a big dropkick off of a blind tag. Senton by Martin for 2.  MArtin and Wheeler exchange 2 count rollups.  Dax tags in but he gets sunset flipped for 2.  The action spills to the outside and FTR gets the blind tag and nails Martin with the Big Rig for the pin.

WINNERS: FTR

We're now talking about the Suzuki incident from last week, where Minoru Suzuki's entrance got cut off.  Lance Archer and Suzuki, pillars of Suzuki-Gun, challenge Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston for next week.  The match is signed.

The lights go out.  Malakai Black makes his eerie entrance and wants members of the House of Black to rise as we have an enemy.  Rosario Dawson gets called out and approaches Black.  Cody approaches the ring as Dawson jumps on Black's back.  Rhodes and Black brawl throughout the arena. The announcers are pushing hard that Cody has his passion back.  We go to commercial.

We're back and we get a brief history of the issue between Ana Jay and The Bunny.  They meet Friday on Rampage.

Alex Reynolds interrupts the Dark Order's interview. Jay doesn't want anyone with her if Dark Order can't get it together.

Dan Lambert is in the ring with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page and he runs down New Jersey.  Members of American Top Team are in there as Lambert runs down AEW.  Here comes Chris Jericho and Jake Hager.  Lambert wants Judas turned off.  The crowd sings along.  Junior DosSantos is with Lambert.  Lambert continues to run down Newark. Jericho wants to know what the problem is.  He questions the sexual orientation of LAmbert's team.  Jericho lays the challenge to Sky and Page.  Lambert accepts for next week.

I feel kind of bad for Newark as everything tonight is set up for next week.

We go to backstage video from the Gunn Club.  They're sick and tired of being ignored.  The Gunn Club is undefeated in tag team action but yet get no respect.

Jade Cargill w/Mark Sterling vs. Legit Leyla Hirsch

Jade with forearms to the back, Hirsch with a double leg and she nails Sterling with a tope suicida.  Running forearm by Hirsch and she hits a double knee in the corner for 1.  Cross arm breaker by Hirsch but Jade with a powerbomb as we go to commercial.

We're back and Jade with a fireman carry but Leyla turns it into a sleeper.  Jade misses a pump kick.  Cargill with a back elbow but a snap German for 2 by Hirsch.  Tope suicida by Hirsch.  Hirsch with a running knee strike for 2.  Hirsch misses a moonsault and Jade with a pump kick and a face first powerbomb for the pin.

WINER: Jade Cargill

We see highlights of Andrade El Idolo vs. Pac from Rampage.

Taz comes to the booth and accuses Punk of taking his job.  Hook gets in Punk's face but Powerhouse Hobbs attacks Punk from behind.  Hook with a dragon sleeper to Punk and orders the booth cleared.  Hobbs sends Punk through the table.  Punk is writhing in pain.

Shawn Spears w/ Tully Blanchard vs. Darby Allin w/Sting

Spears with kicks in the corner, Allin rolls out.  Spears follows and throws Allin into the steps.  Darby tries to fight back but again gets thrown into the steps. Spears with knees to Allin's head.  Allin gets out of the way and Spears bangs his knee.  Spears sweeps Allin's leg and tosses him back inside.  Spears with towel and viciously rubs the makeup of Darby as we go to commercial.

We're back and Spears is in control with a scorpion death lock.  Allin makes the ropes.  Allin with a kick and a dropkick to the leg.  Code Red by Darby for 2.  Darby to the top but Spears meets him.  Darby with a leg sweep and punches Spears' knee. Spears tosses Allin from the top rope.  Spears sets up the C4 on the steps but Darby with a cutter and nails his tope and a coffin drop for the pin.

WINNER: Darby Allin

FTR hits the ring and they go at it with Darby and Sting.  Tully with a chair to Sting and FTR overwhelm him and Darby.  I'm guessing this match'll take place sometime next week. FTR with a spike piledriver on Sting and they wipe the facepaint off of Sting.

We get pre recorded comments from Bryan Danielson.  Tony brings him out for an interview but is immediately interrupted by Don Callis and Kenny Omega.  Callis is mad because Danielson is making millions off the back of Omega.  Callis calls him a mark.  Danielson shuts him up and addresses Omega.  Right now it isn't about the title, it's about who's better.  Callis declines the challenge.  Danielson calls the Elite a bunch of stooges.  AEW has set a record tonight with saying "$h!t" in a two hour wrestling broadcast.  Angry, Omega accepts the challenge.

Miro formally accepts Fuego's challenge

Matt Hardy vows revenge on Orange Cassidy, as he promises to shave his head.

Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston vs. 2.0

2.0 attacks as Moxley and Kingston enter the ring.  Moxley bites Jeff Parker and we're officialy underway.  Moxley with a suplex and a series of chops.  Parker avoids a slam and makes the tag.  And now he's biting Lee.  Lee bails out and Moxley follows him.  2.0 double team Moxley as we go to another commercial.

We're back and Moxley has been beat down through out the break.  Moxley nails them both with kicks but gets hit with a clothesline and drop toe hold. Lee with a back elbow to Kingston. Moxley with a lariat and he finally makes the tag and lays out 2.0 with punches.  Machine Gun chops to Lee into an exploder.  Kingston with a spinning back fist and tags in Moxley.  They nail a snap dragon/lariat combo for the pin.

WINNERS: Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley

Here comes Suzuki Gun, Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer.  Kingston and Archer have squared off and Moxley and Suzuki are all over ringside. The brawl goes all the way through the Prudential Center.

We go to credits.
