NWA POWERRR ON FITE.TV REPORT

We are back in St. Louis at the historic Chase Ballroom for NWA Powerrr. no "Into the Fire", that upsets me. Joe Galli, Tim Storm and Velvet Sky are at the desk and they run over the night's card.

Kyle Davis is NWA World's Champion Trevor Murdoch.  He wants Nick Aldis to come out and the National Treasure obliges.  For the last 3 months, they've gone to war.  Murdoch invokes his teachings from Harley Race.  This is a very humble new champion.  Personally, Murdoch thought Aldis always checked the boxes of what a champion should be.  He congratulates Aldis on his 1044 day reign and respects him.  NWA73 was the toughest fight of his life.  He gives Aldis the floor.  Aldis seems choked up as he talks about going to Missouri to learn from Race. He tells a story about how a WWE tag team champion (Murdoch) took time out of his extremely busy schedule to help Race's students (i.e., him). He tells the story of convincing Murdoch to come back to wrestling, the NWA in particular.  He's glad that, if he had to lose the title, it was to Murdoch.  It's a mutual respect thing between the two. Aldis announces he's stepping away for awhile and wishes Murdoch well in his reign.  He's breaking down.  They shake hands and Aldis leaves.  Great moment.

Jamie Stanley and El Rudo vs. Kratos and Aron Stevens in an NWA Tag Team Title Eliminator quarter final

Stevens and Rudo kick us off with a lockup. Rudo with a headlock takedown, Stevens kicks out.  Kratos tags in and goes jaw to jaw with Rudo.  Rudo can't tackle Kratos down. Big backdrop by Kratos and Stanley tags in.  Forearms by Stanley but a pounce by Kratos.  The former champs are glaring at each other.  Stevens tags in, as does Rudo. Rudo with a punch to the face and he drops Stevens with a forearm.  Stanley tags in and they double team in the corner. Forearms on the ground by Stanley, Rudo tags in and misses a kick, Kratos tags in and knocks Stanley off the apron and fires away with clotheslines.  Gut wrench by Kratos.  Stanley tags in and eats a slam.  Deadlift suplex by Kratos and he scores the pin.

WINNERS: Kratos and Aron Stevens.

The winners make their way to May Valentine. May wants to know the status of their partnership.  Kratos says he's committed to the team and the brotherhood and loyalty.  He will always have Stevens' back. He still sees a great team but wants to see Stevens' leadership come to the forefront.  Kratos sees a killer in Stevens.  He tells Aron to let his aggression out.  Stevens said no one has talked to him like that since Killer Kowalski, his original trainer. Stevens says he has decisions to make.

Cowboy James Storm is at the desk with Kyle Davis, going face to face with The Sinister Minister and Judais. Storm challenges Judais to a match, any kind of match he wants.  But Storm wants Judais to put up his NWA National Title shot.  Minister declines.  He does acknowledge that they need to go through Storm.  Minister pulls Judais away.

Melina joins the booth for our next match.

Paola Blaze vs. Marti Belle (If Blaze wins, she and Jennacide are the NWA Women's Tag Team Championship top contenders)

Forearms by Belle into a running clothesline.  Running kick by Belle for 2.  At the desk, Melina is talking about her friendship with Chris Adonis and how she feels she's a better fit for the group than Kamille.  Meanwhile, Blaze with a crucifix for 2. Belle with forearms but eats a back elbow.  Blaze sends her into the buckle.  Jennacide and Tarryn Terrel is at ringside for Blaze.  Forearm by Blaze.  Blaze with a hair throw.  Jennacide interferes but Allysin fights her off.  Cover for 2 by Blaze.  Jawbreaker by Belle into series of clotheslines and a discuss forearm into a pedigree for the pin.

WINNER: Marti Belle

There will be a match between Kay and Jennacide with the same stipulation.  

Kamille emerges and sneak attacks Melina at the desk, leaving her laying.  

Pope wants his opportunity at the World Title.  He'll be cashing in his Champions Series opportunity in his own terms.  JTG is looking on with Colby Corino.  Next week on Powerrr, Colby and JTG have a NWA Tag Team qualifying match against the Hawx family.

Chelsea Green and Kiera Hogan come out and Chelsea is living up to being the Hot Mess.  She gets in May's face and warns Kamille that she's coming for her.  Hogan has some choice words for Mickie James.  She felt disrespected on commentary recently.

Jordan Clearwater w/ Black Jeez vs. Jeremiah Plunkett w/Danny Deals vs. Cyon w/Austin Idol in an NWA TV Title Contenders match

Cyon and Clearwater pummell Plunkett and take turns lowering elbows.  Clearwater tosses Cyon out and scores a 1 count.  Now they go face to face. Plunkett attacks both men and nails a powerslam on Cyon for 2.  Plunkett rams Clearwater into the buckles.  Clearwater with a neckbreaker but Cyon with a kick and a Northern Lights for 2.  Cyon sends Clearwater out.  Cyon takes out Plunkett and now all three are on the outside.  Back in the ring, Clearwater with a kick.  Cyon applies a half crab to Clearwater into a full Boston Crab.  Idol knocks out his own man with brass knuckles while Black Jeez distracts the ref.  Clearwater pins Cyon.

WINNER: Jordan Clearwater

Tyrus stares down Clearwater

In the ring, we've got something unique, a slapfight between Crimson and Jax Dane. Robert King, the referee, has a bowl in his hand with poweder that the announcers point out.  Trevor Murdoch is the judge for this.   Dane with the first slap.  Crimson with the second. I can't help but think the powder is going to come into play here.  Dane with a closed fist punch and down goes Crimson.  Chris Adonis and Thom Lattimer attack Murdoch. Pope saves him.  The locker room empties out as the roster brawls throughout the Chase.
