FIRST MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR NEW JAPAN'S RETURN TO PHILLY, BIG TITLE BOUTS SET FOR BIG JAPAN, A-TEAM VS. ZERO1 AND MORE FROM JAPAN

New Japan Pro Wrestling

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the first two matches for its STRONG television tapings on October 16 and 17 in the legendary 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

On the first night, Chris Dickinson will face Minoru Suzuki. On the second night, Alex Zayne will face Will Ospreay.

WrestleCade has announced Jay White will appear at its three-day convention on November 26, 27 and 28 at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Big Japan Pro Wrestling

Big Japan Pro Wrestling has announced three future title matches for its shows on October 9 and 18 in Korakuen Hall.

Drew Parker will attempt his first defense of Game Changer Wrestling’s GCW Ultraviolent Championship against Yuki Ishikawa at its show on September 23 in Korakuen Hall. Then, the winner will defend the title against Akira Hyodo on October 9.

Both the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship and BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship will be defended on October 18. Yuko Miyamoto will attempt his first defense of the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship against Ryuji Ito at Big Japan’s show on September 20 in Sapporo and Yasufumi Nakanoue will attempt his seventh defense of the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship against Takuya Nomura on the same show.

Big Japan held a show today in Hokkaido.

Francesco Akira, who announced on Instagram last month that he is relocating to Europe until the end of December, will wrestle his final match (until he returns, presumably in 2022) teaming with Atsuki Aoyagi and Rising HAYATO against Black Menso~re, Dan Tamura and TAJIRI.

Koji Iwamoto will make his in-ring return after recovering from COVID-19 teaming with Ryuki Honda against Kento Miyahara and Yuma Aoyagi.

Shuji Ishikawa will attempt his second defense of the GAORA TV Championship against Takao Omori.

All Japan has announced it will hold a show on November 21 in 2AW Square as part of its Real World Tag League tournament.

The updated tournament schedule is:
