OLYMPIC CHAMPION TALKS ABOUT HIS DEAL WITH WWE, BRONSON REED UPDATE, NEW WWE TRADEMARKS AND MORE

By Paul Jordan on 2021-09-14 09:36:00

Drew McIntyre did an interview with Newsday talking about WWE coming to the UBS Arena, November 29.

In case you're wondering, Alexa Bliss' gift to Charlotte Flair on Monday Night Raw, Charly is already being sold as a plush doll on WWE Shop.

Gable Steveson spoke with Ariel Helwani:

Gable talks about his NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deal with WWE that allows him to finish out his collegiate career with Minnesota while still making appearances for WWE and training. Stevenson confirms that it's a three-year deal that officially starts next year, this year's extra. According to Gable, there is no limit to the money can make. The Olympian states that Brock Lesnar was a huge influence in his decision, mentions that he was backstage at SmackDown this past Friday at MSG and might've been slated for an appearance. Stevenson stated that he is open to competing in MMA, but right now he is 100% committed to WWE. When asked if any special offers came from Dana White and UFC, he says a few text messages were exchanged during Summerslam weekend but nothing was followed up on. Stevenson said that Vince had the upper hand. He said the rumor of him being in the Dana White Contender Series was new to him. In regards to this character Gable seems to think he could be the new American hero, hearing from fans that he can't be without a broken, freaking neck like Kurt Angle. On whether Gable will surpass NXT and go straight to Raw or SmackDown, he says it's highly likely. Stevenson teases that he could show up anytime on any show. When asked whether he would return to the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, Gable said he wasn't sure. He's committed to WWE for the next few years. Gable talks about Triple H's recent health issues, saying he talked with Stephanie at MSG sending well wishes. Stevenson put over the constant communication, he had with Levesque throughout the years.

Not sure how long this is been this way, but if you go to the WWE Network section on WWE.com, there is a graphic that says "Find It Here… Watch It There."  This means WWE is allowing US users to get around the organizational mess of Peacock by using the old Network interface layout to find the content and when you click the video it opens on Peacock.
