Marketing Research Analyst – Insights & Analytics

The Marketing Research Analyst supports analyses and reporting needs across multiple WWE departments and understands the views of WWE fans and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  •     Support primary, secondary and syndicated marketing research needs to address business questions. This will involve designing and programming surveys, seeking ways to obtain more value from existing studies and databases, and finding opportunities for additional analyses that can provide deeper insight into WWE fans and prospects
  •     Use web-based software to design and execute ad hoc surveys
  •     Ability to multi-task, manage project list, and deliver visually compelling presentations
  •     Work closely with the rest of the Insights & Analytics Group to help in providing holistic answers and approaches
  •     Use data to tell a story and create impactful recommendations
  •     Perform correlation, regression, factor, cluster analysis or other statistical analysis as needed
  •     Cultivate a strong working relationship with external marketing research partners/suppliers
  •     Stay up to date on WWE and competitive programs, products, Talent, and business developments
  •     Other assignments/projects as directed

Qualifications: 

  •     Bachelor’s degree
  •     1+ years marketing research/consumer insights experience (supplier or client side); ideally in media/entertainment or sports
  •     Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
  •     Previous experience programming and using survey platforms (Qualtrics, Alida, Verint, etc.)
  •     Previous experience using syndicated data platforms (YouGov, MRI Simmons, Nielsen Scarborough, etc.) a plus
  •     Excellent organizational, verbal & written communications skills
  •     Excellent analytical skills to choose appropriate statistical methods, data organization and materials to draw appropriate conclusions to make recommendations for solutions
  •     Able to prioritize well and multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while at the same time, paying close attention to detail
  •     Knowledge of Tableau a plus
  •     Able to work both collaboratively and independently as needed
  •     Enthusiastic learner with strong intellectual curiosity

Content Asset Assistant

WWE’s Broadcast Media department is looking for a new Content Asset Assistant for an exciting opportunity with their team! 

This position will be a 6-month temporary assignment, with the opportunity to be extended or converted to a full-time employee. This person would report to the Director and expected to be in office (Stamford, CT) 1-2 days per week along with the rest of the team.

Responsibilities:

  •     Transcoding/Upload of WWE Live Event Spots on a weekly basis
  •     IPV Link distribution and Renewals
  •     Internet Rips for Production Use
  •     Show Segments/Matches Distribution
  •     Downloading Content from Third parties to be Ingested
  •     Crafting basic compilation reels
  •     Report and troubleshoot technical and operational issues

Qualifications: 

  •     Experience Editing with any software (Avid, Adobe, Final Cut, etc.)
  •     Knowledge of current WWE storylines a plus, but not required
  •     Knowledge of File Forming/file creation
  •     Experience in compiling reels a plus

Manager, Live Events Marketing

The WWE is Hiring! We are looking for an outstanding Manager of Live Events Marketing who will be based in Stamford, CT, and will lead all aspects of marketing, sales, and PR for approximately 40+ live events annually!

This person will have the opportunity to provide strategic management and continuity between events and markets, both for marketing and scheduling of all WWE Live Events across the United States!

Key Responsibilities:

  •     Develop media/advertising campaign and strategy based upon assigned budgets.
  •     Collaborate with internal departments, including PR and Marketing, concerning different avenues for promoting events.
  •     Work to build relationships in the market with the key decision makers and partners within the community.
  •     Develop positive relationships with these local partners in all aspects to build ties with local sponsors and retailers.
  •     Generate a true understanding of each market, their spending habits, daily trends, and demographic break down to further provide scaling and ticket pricing for events.
  •     Collaborate with the creative services team, as well as TV/Digital and radio spot producers to develop a custom creative strategy in each market.
  •     Build and analyze various reports on event sales and trends.
  •     Serve as accountable WWE representative onsite for all events assigned. Including but not limited to publicity, ticketing, event operations, event settlement etc.
  •     Ultimate goal is to provide the best experience for our fans; before, during, and after each event.

Qualifications:

  •     5+ years of experience in Entertainment, Sports, or Live Event marketing
  •     Experience with a major touring entity or arena/venue marketing strongly preferred.
  •     Able to adjust and adapt to varying changes in your markets/region.
  •     Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  •     Bachelor’s Degree required

The Sr. Producer/Writer/Editor, WWE will be an experienced and passionate creative professional, focused on the conception and production of assets and campaigns to promote WWE content available on Peacock. These campaigns will use key WWE content to drive both customer acquisition and engagement/retention. They will work closely with creative and production teams at WWE to ensure a seamless partnership when it comes to marketing key priorities including live pay-per-views, WWE Originals, and WWE library content.

Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

  •     Concept, write, produce and execute best-in-class creative campaigns for WWE/Peacock
  •     Serve as key creative point of contact with external WWE creative and production teams for planning, production and approval of Peacock marketing assets
  •     Produce and edit promotional/creative video content for use on all platforms
  •     Supervise VO recording and audio mix sessions
  •     Collaborate with Creative Director and others to brainstorm and script ideas and concepts.
  •     Work alongside designers and production team to create and produce all content
  •     Direct talent during marketing shoots as needed
  •     Work on other key Peacock marketing priorities beyond WWE as part of the Peacock Sports & Live Events team, including Peacock Sports campaigns, Peacock Originals campaigns, Peacock Brand initiatives, and campaigns for Peacock library content

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in writing, producing and video editing for A/V promo material

• Strong command of: digital video file formats; working with source video/material of varying quality and technical specs (frame rate, codecs, etc); export troubleshooting

• Exhibit talent for conceptual thinking and writing skills

• Understanding of how to create and optimize promotional content for digital and social platforms

• Demonstrated ability to create promotional materials for a wide variety of partners

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects

Desired Characteristics

• Experience leading large-scale, 360° creative campaigns in television or entertainment (sports, drama or comedy); streaming experience preferred

• The ability to meet tight deadlines, in a fast-paced creative environment
