NEW MAIN EVENT SET FOR WWE EXTREME RULES

WWE has officially announced Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor in a WWE Universal Championship match for the 9/26 Extreme Rules PPV in Columbus, Ohio.  PWInsider.com had reported that was the direction WWE would be going in shortly after Summerslam, leaving Brock Lesnar for Crown Jewel or Survivor Series.

Given the tease at the end of Friday Night Smackdown last week, it's quite possible Reigns will be facing Balor in his Demon persona at the PPV.

Previously announced for the event:

*WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs. WWE Raw Tag Team Champion Randy Orton.

*WWE Smackdown Women's Champion Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair.

*WWE Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss.

*WWE United States Champion Damian Priest vs. Sheamus at the PPV.
