Welcome to the Impact Wrestling on AXS TV report!

We take a look at everything that went down last week and then head to the ring.

Tasha Steelz with Savannah Evans vs. Rosemary with Havok

They locked up and Rosemary grabbed her and bit Tasha on the face before nailing a back suplex.  Steelz tried to rebound but was snatched in the hanging armbar in the corner.

Rosemary missed a move off the ropes and was stomped by Steelz.  Steelz brought her into the corner and drilled her with chops and running back elbows.  Steelz snapmared her over and snapped Rosemary with a bicycle kick to the face for another two count.  She pulled Rosemary down with a chinlock but Rosemary fought her way out.  Rosemary tried to make a comeback but was drilled with a high knee as she rebounded off the ropes.  Steelz rained down with punches on the mat.

Rosemary kept absorbing the shots and made her way back to her feet.  She grabbed Steelz for an inverted DDT for a two count, then went for a double underhook suplex. Steelz blocked it and rocked Rosemary with a strike, then hit a springboard bulldog off the ropes for a two count.  Rosemary went for a spear but Steelz avoided it.  They battled back and forth until Rosemary drilled her with a spear for the pin.

Your winner, Rosemary!

A good, hard-fought match.

After the match, Savannah Evans stepped to Havok and Rosemary, allowing Steelz to steal the Knokouts Tag Team Championship belts.

Matt Striker and D'Lo Brown previewed the main events of the show.

Gia Miller interviewed Ace Austin.  He was asked if he was prepared to face Christian Cage at the PPV.  Austin said he's been preparing for a long time to be the youngest World Champion in Impact history.  Madman Fulton told Austin that he saw Scott D'Amore off to the side.  They approached him. Austin said that since he wrestled Tommy Dreamer last week, Christian Cage should wrestle next week.  He suggested Cage vs. Madman Fulton for next week.  Scott said that's a great idea, but instead they'll have a ten man tag next week with teams captained by Cage and Austin Aries.

Austin and Fulton walked off and encountered Brian Myers and his flunkies.  He offered Myers a spot on the ten man tag.  Myers told his lackeys that when you are a top guy, opportunities find you and said he was in.

Next up was the follow-up to Rhino being abandoned in the prison last week by Violent by Design.  Eric Young told Rhino that he saw the truth.  He said that sometimes violence if the only cure.  Rhino has suffered enough and now he's at his purest form.

Bunkhouse Brawl: Karl Anderson vs. Rich Swann

There are weapons outside the ring and several wooden boards leaning against turnbuckles inside the ring.

Swann hit the ring and attacked, ducking under Anderson and nailing a tope con hilo to take out Gallows.  He whipped Anderson into into of the boards in the corner, smashing it.  Anderson went to the floor where Swann nailed him again, then drilled Gallows with a trash can lid.  He used it on Anderson as well.  They battled up to the entrance stage.  Anderson tried to run him down to the ring but Swann sent him into the apron, using the momentum against him.  Swann nailed Gallows and then nailed Anderson low on the outside.

Swann continued to work over Gallows on the floor, but was cut off by Anderson.  Swann was whipped into the ring post but reversed it and Anderson ate the steel.  Swann kept beating on them on the floor until Anderson drilled him from behind.  Anderson beat him over and over with a trash can lid.  Anderson nailed a suplex on the ramp leading to the ring as they went to commercial.

When they returned, Anderson was stomping away on Swann in the ring.  He wedged a chair between the buckles.   Anderson controlled Swann and scored a two count after a hiptoss through a wooden board.  Swann sent him into the board again.  The crowd chanted, "This is awesome."  Anderson charged Swann in the corner but missed and smashed through the board.  He still cut off Swann and sent him into the buckles but missed with a charging shot with a trash can lid, smashing himself instead.  Swann nailed him over and over with the trash can lid, then hit a neckbreaker.  Swann nailed a standing 450 splash for a close two count.

Gallows distracted Swann, allowing Karl to drill him with a spinebuster.  Anderson went for the Gun Stun but was caught with a cutter for a two count.  They battled back and forth.  Anderson clobbered Swann with a big lariat for a close two count.  Gallows and Anderson set up a table inside the ring.  Anderson went to utilize it but Swann escaped a Gun Stun attempt and nailed a flurry of kicks.  He placed Anderson atop the table and worked him over with punches.  Swann ascended to the top but Gallows snatched his foot, crotching him on the top. Anderson nailed a Gun Stun from the top through the tablle, which didnt break so it looked even more evil, and scored the pin.

Your winner, Karl Anderson!

Gia Miller interviewed Mickie James about Deonna Purrazzo attacking her at the NWA 73 PPV.  James said she should have seen Purrazzo coming but she didn't.  Part of her wants to get her back but another part of her feels Purrazzo made a name for herself.  However, she's not going to make it at Mickie's expense.  Mickie said that she takes wrestling very personal and her career very personal and Purrazzo took it from her.  Mickie redefined her career in Impact and there's a big difference between the businesswoman Mickie James who came here to promote a show she was invested in and the Hardcore Country Mickie James who is coming for her.

They went to a vignette on Drama King Matt.  He challenged Trey Miguel for next week.

Chris Bey vs. David Finlay

They started off fast, battling to the floor.  Finlay drilled Bey with some hard chops.  Bey came back and controlled the ring for some time, scoring a two count after a leaping clothesline.  Finlay made a comeback and used a leglace for a two count.

Bey fired back but was caught with a rough looking uranage across the knees for a two count, then cinched in a STF variation, trying to force a submission.  Bey battled to the ropes and finally placed his foot across the borrom rung to force the break.  Finlay called for the end and went to finish up Bey but was caught with a small package for a two count.

Bey was sent into the buckles but went up and over and caught Finlay with a spinebuster for a two count.  He peppered Finlay with hard kicks to the chest.  They battled into the corner where Bey tried to use the ropes for the pinfall advantage but Juice Robinson ran out and shoved them off.  Bey was distracted, allowing Finlay to snatch him and score the pin.

Your winner, Dave Finlay.

Bullet Club's Hikuleo hit the ring and attacked Finlay and Robinson.  He chokeslammed Robinson while Bey used a chair to Pillmanize Robinson's ankle with a Hikuleo-assisted elevated double stomp.  The announcers wondered what other members of Bullet Club were lurking around.

Backstage, Scott D'Amore oversaw a contract signing with X-Division Champion Josh Alexander and Chris Sabin for Victory Road.  Sabin said he has the utmost respect for Josh, but this isn't just about a title but about building a legacy.  Alexander said that Sabin is an eight-time champion, which means he's lost the title eight times but no one has beaten Alexander yet.  Scott told them they are both fantastic professional wrestlers.  One will walk out champion but they are both pillars of this company.  He said when it's over, they should shake hands.  Sabin told Alexander to give him his best.

As Sabin exited, Christian Cage asked him to be on his team next week.  Sabin agreed.

We go to the return of Swinger's Palace.  TJP, Fallah Bahh and No Way showed up.  He said this was the best illegal underground casino in all of Nashville.   TJP bet all his money on Maclin beating Petey Williams tonight.  Heel turn!?  No Way Jose called it a bootleg Caesar's Palace so Hernandez banned them.  No Way said this wasn't over between them.  Sy Yung's minions were lurking in the background looking for their next victim.  Alisha Edwards?

Maclin vs. Petey Williams.

Maclin took the fight to Williams almost immediately and caught him going for a high cross bodyblock, turning it into a suplex.  He sent Williams into the ropes, drilling him with a big knee to the mid-section.   Cutler nailed a double underhook suplex into a backbreaker across the knees.  Williams fired back with hard chops and kicked off a charge in the corner.  Maclin missed a charge in the corner and was hit with a back suplex.

Ace Austin was interviewed backstage.  He said he always has an ace up his sleeve.  W. Morrisey and Moose showed up.  If Eddie or Sami are on Team Cage, they are in.  So, Team Ace is complete.

Moose with W. Morrisey vs. Eddie Edwards

Edwards started quick but Moose caught him in the corner.  Edwards battled back but Moose ran through him.  He chopped Edwards hard in the corner several times.  Edwards fought back and caught him with the rapid-fire chops.  Edwards dropped down and Moose sailed over the top to the floor but immediately rebounded and snapped his arm across the top rope.

Moose whipped Eddie hard into the buckles.  Moose worked over Eddie for a long time and tossed him to the floor.  He drilled Edwards shoulder-first into the ring post as they went to commercial.  When they returned, Edwards caught him with a running clothesline, finally making some sort of comeback.
