Fuminori Abe defeated Shoki Kitamura in the final of Pro Wrestling ZERO1’s Tenka-Ichi Junior tournament to win the vacant ZERO1 International Junior Heavyweight Championship and ZERO1 World Junior Heavyweight Championship in the main event.

After the match, Abe said he hopes to defend the titles against Shinjiro Otani in Korakuen Hall. ZERO1’s next show in the venue is on September 19.

ZERO1 rookie Ryo Hoshino, who only just debuted in July, has suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and is expected to be out of action for approximately one year.
