El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru defeated El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori to win the IWGP Junior Tag Team Championships in the second match.
Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr. made their first successful defense of the IWGP Tag Team Championships against Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI as well as SANADA and Tetsuya Naito in a three-way tag team match third on the card after Taichi pinned YOSHI-HASHI while Sabre Jr. trapped Naito in a submission.
New Japan then announced full field for this year’s G1 Climax tournament after the third match. The full field is:

Robbie Eagles made his first successful defense of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against Hiromu Takahashi in the fourth match.
After the bout, El Desperado came to the ring to challenge Eagles for the title. Eagles, of course, defeated El Desperado to win the title at the first Wrestle Grand Slam show on July 25 in the Tokyo Dome. Eagles accepted El Desperado’s challenge on the condition that he and Tiger Mask could challenge El Desperado and Kanemaru for their newly won IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships.
Shingo Takagi made his second successful defense of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against EVIL in the main event.

Daichi Hashimoto and Hideyoshi Kamitani made their first successful defense of the BJW Tag Team Championships against Daisuke Sekimoto and Yuji Hino.
Yasufumi Nakanoue made his sixth successful defense of the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship against Fuminori Abe.
Nakanoue was challenged by Takuya Nomura after the bout and their non-title match at Big Japan’s show on September 20 in Sapporo will now be Nakanoue’s seventh defense of the title.
Yuko Miyamoto defeated Drew Parker to win the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship in the main event.
As a result, Miyamoto will attempt his first defense of the title against Ryuji Ito at Big Japan’s show on September 20 while Parker will team with Yuki Ishikawa against Jaki Numazawa and Jun Kasai on the show.
