SEQUEL TO NEW JOHN CENA FILM ALREADY ANNOUNCED

Deadline.com reported that John Cena's Vacation Friends has become the most watched original film during an opening weekend on Hulu and has already been green-lit for a sequel, Honeymoon Friends.

Vacation Friends' ,plot - "A straight-laced couple has fun with a rowdy couple on vacation in Mexico. When they return to the states, they discover that the crazy couple they met in Mexico followed them back home."

Cena stars in the film with Meredith Hagner (as the rowdy couple) with Yvonne Anuli Orji and Lil' Rey Howery. as the straight-laced leads.

Vacation Friends was the directorial debut for Clay Traver, Executive Producer of HBO's Silicon Valley, who also co-wrote 2001's Joy Ride starring the late Paul Walker.  The main cast, Tarver and producer Todd Garner are already set for the sequel.
